A good example of Russian misdirection (although hilariously failed right away, except for succeeding at fooling ALL mass media in the West) is stationing and training troops in Belarus; making it seem as if another wave will come from there - and as such, attempting to draw Ukrainian forces away from the south, back to the north. Ukrainian ministry of defence has simply said; there are no risks coming from Belarus, so lol to that.
