If your game is crashing after installing a mod, uninstall the mod and reload to confirm that the mod is the issue. Some mod creators may try to make changes that the game cannot allow (Ex: Changing the ugrids value).

I have another visual issue that I haven't seen posted. When I rotate my view quickly left or right, the bottom and lower-right part of my screen become pixelated. That is, areas of my screen seem to flicker and become "blocky" as I rotate my view. These pixelated areas eventually spread to the rest of my screen. It makes my game unplayable.

Opening System -> Storage -> Manage Storage "View Contents" also crashes and gives me an error with the id: 0x87b20c19 / or 0x8027025a So yeah I can't even reinstall Skyrim.

known problems for multiple players are reported, the most well known is Wulfgar spawning on a mountain when handing in the Horn of Jurgen.

I completed the "Horn of Jurgen Windcaller" quest and retrieved the horn from Delphine but when I returned to High Hrothgar the only greybeard present was Arngeir. When he told me to learn the third word of power for Fus Ro Dah from Wulfgar a map marker popped up. I followed it all the way to the southern border of Skyrim and can not go any further but the map marker still points south.

So the Companions quest line is broken for me. The leaders will not return to Jorrvaskr after completing the quest 'glory of the dead'. As such, I cannot cure two of the characters, use them as companions etc.

I have also been having a problem with my screen bouncing like I'm being staggered but it does it constantly unless I restart the game. It's not really something I can even deal with. The screen starts bouncing so hard while I'm walking that it gives me motion sickness. It happens after playing for more than 20 minutes at a time, or if I attempted climbing mountains. It's really annoying having to turn the game on and off every 20 minutes just to avoid throwing up.

Nearly every mill I have visited has a missing texture on the left hand side at which the log starts moving through the mill it is just a orange rectangle.

My sounds aren't even close to being in sync with actions even in a completely unmodded vanilla game. When I open any sort of menu the delay is so long I can literally send a text waiting for it to come up.
Dis you try closing the console and reloading? Is it plugged on? Has you make a new save with the error and delete all ovver saves?

After I went to retrieve the horn of Jurgen Windcaller and found the note from Delphine, the map marker to meet her in Riverwood is completely in the wrong spot. When I go to the spot it points to there's nothing there, and when I went to the sleeping giant inn she was nowhere to be found. The marker on the compass points towards Whiterun, but when I enter Whiterun it points towards back outside. Some kind of bug maybe

After starting the "Dampened spirits" quest I was supposed to meet with maven at the bee and the barb inn. She wasn't there. I looked all around riften, and I couldn't find her anywhere. So I decided to check the map to find her marker........it turns out she is out of skyrims borders. so I tried a few things to see if I could fix it.
1. I reloaded a previous save and went from there. she was still outside the border.
2. I waited/slept for several days. still no maven.
3. I closed out of my game entirely and went back in. it didn't fix the problem

I have a problem finishing the Thieves Guild storyline due to a glitch: a mission called summerset shadows is where I had trouble. It says I need to find this man called Torsten Cruel Sea up in Windhelm, but when I go search for him it says that he is outside of the map borders, all the way up in the right corner. Can any one help me with this? Note this Skyrim Remastered PS4 edition
I know why this is happening on all platforms. I also know how to fix it. But I decided not to share why it's happening. I prefer to watch this ship sink.

The NPC's in the game are having texture problems. They are flashing white pixelated light all over there armor mostly. Their faces sometimes do it to and also cloth banners will do it if i am looking at it from a most angles. Is there some setting I can turn up to fix this.
I am currently having the same problem, but it's not just clothing. The whole game has the flashing light randomly.

When playing I always hear the water, ripping and tearing which also makes the water flicker and also my screen flickering black and to normal. It's not the screen flickering that bothers me the most though... when all this is going on I also can here the water make an loud sound almost like a splash sound which is really off putting especially when im not near any water...

Even the people at Bethesda have no fucking clue about using mods. Doesn't stop them from cashing in on them, of course.

It's a good thing Bethesda has a strong, knowledgeable and vibrant user community that's willing to offer the tech support that they won't themselves.

I would be dancing like that if people weren't still blindly defending Bethesda even after this... I am sure there are way less people defending them blindly after this, but I already saw plenty going in the defense of "poor bethesda" that is being treated so badly by the "evil hater mob".
The greater amount of those people will dissipate, they are casual and only care right now because caring is c00l. The burn will last for Bethesda, it might not be strong, but it will remain because, who have they been catering to? Casual console users that will jump to the next best thing within a month or two. I've road the storm for over 16 years.
 
Well that was a nice read. I wish there was more hate though. Now that people were treated like shit by bethesda they will be most likely more careful. It won't get rid of all bethedrones but others will wait before they buy and most likely won't preorder.

Now we wait for PS4 crashes and mod theft. I can't wait to see them burn to the ground.

To hell with SkySE, there's one question concerning future titles. How much regions bethesda have to settle another generic game in and fill with more streamlined lore? Morrowind (FTGJ, Vvanderfell, tell me lies tell me sweet little lies toddy-boy, this fucking game does not contain the very mainland M-O-R-R-O-W-I-N-D, FFS) - "arabic" russia (the lore and dunmers written dangerously alike), oblivion - lore-breaking medieval europe (was supposed to be jungles and more of roman empire), skyrim - embarassing parody of scandinavia.

I love the game Morrowind, but yeah, totally didn't have Morrowind in it. That was pretty misleading.

BGS could make another game in High Rock, but after Daggerfall it will be embarassingly funny since Daggerfall established high rock to be big, which gamebryo can't stomach. Or Hammerfall, a generic desert similar to Skyrim's icy desert. Pretty much done, other regions has far more job to do than your average BGS employee ordered to do. Black Marsh and Elsweyr are homes of humanoid reptiles and tagaziels of different kinds, your average TES game with be either ruined by Skyrimistic execution or will be a niche product, so these regions are out of play.

I think most people are thinking a bit to small scale of "What Province" No offense. There is a scale limitation in the current engine, one thing that probably makes T.O double D, I, E a bit cranky is that the scale of their games is always off. Take Witcher for example, the city looks and feels like a city, a house will have an actual family in it. Same for the most part with Enderal. I think it will be a portion of a map. Instead of this one Provence that seems big, but is all scaled 1:10 or 1:20

I think they are going to try to go big. There was success with the big maps, DLC and main games, being trapped to those limitations can be frustrating.

Picture either Tamriel, or 1/3 to 2/3 of the map. Scale being improved to be more logical.

This will cause a number of issues of course. Learning the new system they have and coding will be easy enough for modders, but repeat assets, procedural generation of regions will be obvious.

Consider if you will that Fallout 4 is using the same game design logic as Oblivion. You get a few maps to explore, but they are separated by worlds. Imagine if those worlds where scaled more effectively and all connected. With this there are pros and cons. Exploration will have that beautiful overwhelming feel, but the asset use will be not as extensive as the mass of land. Level design will be overseen by one individual on one team of 5-10 people. Decoration at some point will become lazy and have the same failings in environmental story telling as Fallout 4. The bigger they try to make it, the more shallow it feels. I just hope they realize that having separate teams with separate leaders would greatly benefit their world design. It forces a fresh feel, and would cause a much needed conflict in design choice.

Another big hurdle will be play testing the massive world to explore, based on their current practices of allowing just anyone to test with no experience will also cause more issues then bugs. It will cause issues with continuity, immersion and flow.
