The Guns and Ammo Thread

Note: yes, this is a privately owned firearm - owned by a crazed, bloodthirsty american

because everybody needs at least one gun that fires 30,000 rounds per minute

That's a very mall ninja getup you have there.

Also, nevermind people who comment about your chickenwing. The only reason not to chickenwing is that you make a bigger target to shoot at. Since I doubt you'll be in a firefight soon, you can just keep chickenwinging to your heart's content.

Yeah, I'm just a member of the arm chair special forces. lol My tacticoolness is below average right now. (But I'm working on it.)

I shot like 200 rounds with my 2 rifles, I did hit the target, so I'm happy for the results. Next time - gets better. :)

Why are you trying so hard to be a lame cliche?

I hope you like this one better. (Shooting my .357 mag)

WTF did I just watch?

".357Mag" video name, but a box of .38 Special is open with no other ammo visible.
And whatever shots you take with the target in the frame, you seem horribly off target. (and totally inconsistent, which makes it worse)

I guess everyone has to start somewhere, so tip of the day:
Cock the hammer with the thumb of your support hand when shooting single action, not the thumb of your firing hand. It'll help to keep your grip consistent.

The handgun is .357 Magnum, not the ammo. I shot .357 mag ammo too, but I didn't feel any difference. Sounds the same, the recoil is the same.

you seem horribly off target

I had no target. I shot around that orange or red thing. These were the very first shots. I wanted to test the cylinder (because Taurus revolvers sometimes have cylinder problems). Fortunately mine rev. is fine, so far. It was not target shooting, these were just 8 test shots. :)

Evidently I'm doing it all wrong. When I test a firearm, I test it for accuracy and try to hit what I'm aiming at.

Maybe I need to invest in some crappy camoflage?

You are doing it wrong. Before you start the accuracy test, you should check if the firearm even works right. It's only 34 cents / shot. I think I can afford 8 rounds. :P

Now let's see your videos. :)

I'm fully capable of checking a firearm for proper operation as I test fire it for accuracy.

It's one of those simple tasks I learned at the tender age of eight.

I don't feel the need to wear goofy camo outfits to the gunrange or the desire to make silly videos to prove anything.

But don't let that stop you from attacking innocent water bottles with your ninja sword...

Good for you.

I don't feel the need to wear goofy camo outfits to the gunrange or the desire to make silly videos to prove anything.

I don't prove anything, I have fun. If you don't know what fun is, you must have a really sad life, man. Now stop watching my videos and upload yours. I bet you have the best videos ever...

with your ninja sword...

Um... you mean a Ka-bar tanto knife? You know U.S. soldiers are using those knives and not ninjas, right?
