The Guns and Ammo Thread

Love my Rugers, it's very hard to put two of them on the chopping block. But, 44 magnum and 30 carbine are not calibers I want to stock and that makes them fair game.

There is one missing from this pic, but the colsest thing to all of them in one shot...

I wish I had the extra $ for the .30 carbine... <sigh> Its a pretty nice pistol especially with FMJ bullets. Much easier to find than the hot loaded israeli .357 FMJs.

The .30 carbine got a lot of looks today, traffic was pretty good. I thought I had two guys that were going to drop for that Ruger, but no such luck.

Closed on the M6 Scout for $600 and the Stoeger O/U for $325, so while it wasn't a horrible day, it wasn't a barn burner either. I'll probably do some re-arranging on the table and do a little bit of mark-down to encourage some horse trading.

The Ruger 10/22 was the most popular thing on my table, but despite getting fondled and remarked on all day for how beautiful it was, an unusal, and priced great - no frikken buyers. I did sell about $400 worth of ammo and stuff from the junk drawer out of the gun closet.

Who knows? Sunday was a great day at the last show in Hattiesburg...

Sold the Ruger 10/22 today, so that leaves me with 5 left I'll try to sell next week at the next show...

A little sad after selling my SKS for only $30 more than I paid for it earlier this year. I could have got more, but I'm impatient and didn't want to deal with the bullshit of having to ship it. Oh well, I hardly used it and lets be honest; ARs are MUCH more fun.

Nice AR Phil.

What's better than a Ruger SR1911 for your birthday?

A second one for christmas...

You should shave your head, get a tatoo of a barcode on your neck, and become backwards-arms Agent 47.

What I should do is stay the fuck off gunbroker.com - it's like a crackhouse for crackheads.

I just won this on auction:

It's a Sites Spectre HC in 9mm, kinda rare - only 2000 semi-auto versions were imported to the U.S. before the Clinton AWB stopped their import. The 9mm was the more common variety with the .40 S&W version being harder to find and the holy grail being a .45 auto version.

The Swiss and Italian special forces still use the full auto version. It's noted mainly for it's blowback operation from a closed bolt with a double action trigger and a decocker - kind of an unusual combination for a machine pistol.

This one came with two 30 round mags and a 50 round magazine. They're called "coffin mags" or "casket mags" because of their odd shape. Their design stacks bullets four wide, another funky aspect of this gun.

For some reason, I'm always drawn to the unusual designs and innovations or the first of it's kind type weapons... :?

I saw that one Willis, I'd have been bidding for it too - if it wasn't an NFA item.

I really wanted the .45 over the 9mm - but they are hard to come across. I think it would probably go for $1700 or so without the SBR "kit".

He won't break the set either...

What? I'm talking about guns? What?

Prefer the mg42? Or the gun that killed the most innocents in history, the Luger?

Screw you nazis made guns too, good ones. Stop being afraid of history.

Edit: Thought about the innocents comment, I guess it's probably tied between the luger and the m-16 when you really come down to it...

I thought that Mississippi was a good state for NFA stuff... (better than Michigan)

@willis - I'm just not interested in going through the NFA process

@johnny - that candy is going to go straight to your hips

@mobucks - quit flirting, johnny is married
