I've just finished it, but I accidently read your spoiler some time before I finished, which just made it painfully more obvious that it was him every time he said anything. I don't know which ending you had of course, but with the elven ending that I got, you're pretty much told straightforward that he was Alvin. Might also be because I chose Triss over Shani, but I'm not sure.Specialist said:Anyone else think spoiltdeespoiltdeespoilt
That kinda made it for me. That, and the jerky camera. Oh and the excruciatingly long loading times (Oblivion looked better, had much more mesh/texture content and loaded much faster).PlanHex said:I just wish the English translation had been up to par. Sometimes the dialogue was laughably choppy.
"Boat ready?"
"Yes, shall we go?"
"Yes"
"Let's go"
Don't forget the tons of 'kill X monsters' and fedex quests. And the fake C&C.

Or maybe the game would crash. It was more of a rhetorical question.Wooz said:Gee whiz, maybe you'd have dialogues in English instead of Polish?
Lookie here.Wooz said:And seriously, I'm not sure the english 'cut' version was censored in its dialogues. Was it? From what I've heard, they edited the boobs out in the American version, and some blood in ze German one.
Have you played the English version of the game? There's lots of cursing going on. I was told by fistfighters that my mother excels at fellating dwarves on many, many occasions.HoKa said:Lookie here.
Oh, sorry. It just came off like that.HoKa said:'Cut dialogues' means that, cut dialogues: instead of getting "Geralt! Old friend, what brings you to my place? Witcher business, I presume?" we get "Geralt...what do you want?".
I wasn't talking about censorship; actually, I never mentioned it.
