You're the liberal imo.
What did she mean by this?

I guraduated High School already so I don't really see any "anarchists" irl anymore.

Oh wow, I've literally never heard that joke before. I'm wounded. Defeated! This boy's cookie cutter humor has defeated me on the field of debate! Slain! Woe is me!

I love the arguing of whos Liberal, whos left, whos right, blah blah blah. This shit is getting funny, kinda like the US election.

This is largely because of the disconnect of language. Rightists mean 'leftist' when they say liberal. Leftists are referring to the ideology of neoliberalism, which encompasses both left-and right-centrists.

"Wingnuts" "Moonbats" oh my god are we talking about the same material reality here what does that mean outside of "People I Disagree With". And a lot of the people arguing with bots on Twitter (??? I can't believe I'm mentioning these idiots as a group! Why would you argue with anyone for 10 hours on Twitter?) are just as unlikely to change their minds in an argument, online or otherwise. "Internet debate culture" affects a lot more outside of it at this point than you'd think. Maybe that's just in the US tho.
Exactly. Which is why I'm so pissed that it's taken so much of a nosedive. I don't want to associate myself with the Left anymore, because they're getting as bad as the Right these days, at least in terms of quality of arguments.

What parts of the ideological framework of the Left do you share? You a fan of Marx or Trotsky? Or do you prefer more modern stuff like Baedan or the body of feminist work from the 60s to the 90s? You don't seem to be a big fan of people trying to upend class relations in any way from what I've seen on here so... I'm just a little confused.
I share social democratic ideas. Dunno where you got my opinions on class relations from, was it a rather smelly place perhaps with very little sunlight?

I'm just sayin', why make fun of people for something you're just as bad about? Glass houses, dude.
Because this is an Internet forum about video games, not a place for actually intelligent political discussions?

I can respect that. And I got it from your shitting on anyone who tries to actually make a difference in terms of class relations, but honestly I'll admit to being wrong and misreading your arguments. Sorry.

I know, want to hear another great one?
Who will build the roads? ;^)[/spoiler

I'm not gonna lie I literally laugh out loud whenever someone says this. One of my ex girlfriends used to call up John Zerzan's radio show and ask him this and it was pretty damn funny.

Where did that ever happen in this forum? Apart from me honestly shitting on third wave/poststructuralist feminism because it's an anti-intellectual movement that I seriously think is a cult that actively makes people dumber I don't think I've written about class relations much at all.

I'm really used to people shitting on third wave feminism being a dogwhistle for hating women (which is a very loose class but there it is), because in my life that's a bit of a trend. Not to say I disagree with your opinion on the cultish mentality and groupthink nonsense it engenders (I used to be in those circles until I was more or less purged for ideological purity's sake.), just that there's a lot of things that read as red flags when one is used to dealing with actual fascists and neoliberals who are like, also just spouting dogma. Like "Cultural Marxism" (just for example, I'm not saying this is a belief that you hold) is becoming more En Vogue with the right and that's just polished kulturalbolshevismus (sp?) conspiracy theory for a new generation.

Well, good job on listening to the dogwhistle, then. I guess that's one reason why I tend to be harsh on the Left: I actually like talking with leftists about those topics, but these days it's getting increasingly hard to be actually critical of anything within the framework as it's so common to just accuse people of not being ideologically tight enough and to ostracise them. There is way too little internal criticism exactly because of this.

I guess you mean those idiots that threw a cake at Sarha Wagenknecht.

Among others. There's a lot of shit going on in the Left, and a lot is just plainly tolerated. German politicians from the Green party can openly applaud the bombings of Dresden and nobody from his party calls him out on it, that kind of stuff.

While it's certainly true that a lot of people just love ganging up on tweets they don't like on the Internet, I think it should be a warning sign that a bot can be mistaken for an actual person, because it shows that a movement is approaching that critical mass of idiots that Poe's Law will become an issue.

Well, the joke here is how easily people get triggered by these statements. Take that as you will.
