Yeah but guess where Vergil is openly insulting people? Not on the public threads and boards, but in private on profiles with friends or in the inbox. Has he talked shit about people on the main threads before? Sure, but we all have, including you. Unlike Illuminati, when Vergil's said things about the Holocaust he's usually making a joke. (except with Global Warming he really has a beef with that) Sorry that you can't see that. Besides that, isn't there a quote from you to me specifically on what makes NMA great: that we can all be assholes to each other and at the end of the day still be here talking about Fallout or what-have-you?

More importantly I distinctly remember you telling me to "pull my pants up" in a homophobic slur while also insulting Vergil and contributing nothing to the conversation and thus breaking the rule about derailing a thread. Not to mention where you've called me a Fascist outright simply for saying Star Wars isn't getting my money because they've referred to right-wingers as Nazis. You really don't have the right to call others brats or tell them to play by the rules, at all.

As Crni has said before, we can all be assholes to each other and at the end of the day still get along by continuing the conversation. Vergil can be an ass, it's true, but we all are here. Again, Vergil went beyond "friendly jabs" on numerous occasions. You either failed to notice - on numerous occasions - or you're pretending you didn't notice.
Do you think that the hundreds of people banned over time, were banned for crimes against humanity or something? They were banned for *taking it a little bit too far*

Vergil thinks that his clever rethorics are anything new, he thinks they are fresh and spicy. They aren't, and I'm sick to death of seeing that manipulative crap. That is why I don't "engage in meaningful conversation" concerning those topics anymore.
You have to realize that a LOT of this - fascist propaganda, posturing, clever rethorics, getting banned for it - is nothing new.
 
So I guess he went full edgelord in front of an admin. Probably that was the most attention he has gotten the whole year, he must be feeling accomplished because he finally got noticed by anyone.

Really? Because most of the people I've seen banned (Dragonborn, SomeGuy37, Illuminati Confirmed to rattle off a few names) weren't banned simply for being snarky assholes at times. They were banned for being assholes whilst contributing nothing to the thread, on multiple occasions. As I already stated, Vergil can be a jerk to people, just as you have, but he always makes it a point to add on to the discussion when he does so. He doesn't simply call someone a slur and leave it at that, he'll contribute to the topic at hand, usually with great brevity and extremely long paragraphs when he gets heated enough.

Anecdotal evidence doesn't really mean anything in the here and now. Sure, you disagree with Vergil having Nazi-esque views, whoopie. Debate him all you want, be an ass to him all you want, that's the point of a forum. Just make sure you contribute to the actual thread when you do so, which Vergil always does, and something I haven't really seen you do. You claim you've been civil in the past, I certainly haven't seen any signs of that civility. You also don't seem to realize a lot of what Vergil says is meant to be taken as sarcastic or as a joke. For example if he knows you're gay he's going to call you a "faggot", but he isn't being hateful, he means it playfully. I'm bisexual and I could give less than an iota of a shit when he calls me that. Hell, he's bisexual himself. He likes shock humor, a type of humor you clearly don't associate with often. If he were completely serious he would have been banned a long time ago. Even Illuminati Confirmed! didn't get outright banned until he stopped contributing to threads and just went full edgelord, something Vergil did not do.

Now I've been a member of this site for a sometime but my posting has been infrequent enough that I assume most people think of me as a new account whenever I pop back up. I'm background character but while I don't post much, I do lurk reading posts. Now I got admit I was wrong when I said "goodbye topic. you will be missed" I should of said Vergil will be missed.

Man Vergil got 600 likes on a forum, he was relevant and everybody loved him. I am kinda surprised the people crying about someone getting banned for breaking the rules are the ones calling others crybabies that just want their safe space, seems someone showed you this wasn't a neo nazi safe space and this has riled you up quite a bit.

Assumptions assumptions. First of all, I never said that people can't convert to Judaism, but nice deflection of what I was actually arguing, which is that the Jewish people can be considered a race. More importantly the reason we ended up linking the same thing is because it's one of the top google results for "Can You Convert to Judaism?" Clearly you never actually tried googling it yourself as I implored you to do, but as they say:

You posted his same article about some guy giving his opinion on Conversion being heresy. And it was only the top result to "You can't convert to judaism", and it's like the only result that even says it's impossible with the rest of the results being institutions dedicated to help people convert and forums where people ask and list the requirements for conversion. You actually gave a good laugh that night.
