Wasteland 2 Kickstarter has launched

Still, with quite a lot of people longing for a proper old-school cRPG, I think they have a pretty good shot.

Yes, well that was to be expected. The video on the page even hints/pokes fun at the younger demographic not giving a rats arse.
 
At no point today did the number go up less than a thousand bucks with each F5. Damn! It is currently: $271,369 as I am leaving work. Have to run errands. I trust it'll be near or over $300, 000 when I get home.

Yeah, I'll definitely be working on it. It should have a better skin soon. We've been going through MediaWiki 1.18 upgrades lately, and I've been going through stomach flu lately, but it'll definitely be my focus. Content-wise, we've already made some improvements compared to the Wikia wiki. :)

I wrote email to jason author of article about that jackpot winner from kickstarter, he repied to me:

"I'm hopping on the phone with Fargo as we speak!"

so soon we will get some nice info and more $$$ to wasteland 2, kotaku has lots of readers

I suspect the WL key macro that we set up to pick for silver in the mines has only lain dormant and has resurrected.
I would invoke the name of SCIENCE! and try my F5 on my bank balances, but I'm afraid my yard will fill up with waves of deathclaws and hordes of Little People! ;)

We passed the 1/3 mark already... And it's only the beginning.

Hopefully InXile doesn't act like Bethesda and actually makes statements about their game progress. I'll probably be dying to see alpha build screenshots or even faction names.
