Wasteland 2 Kickstarter has launched

I put in a very generous pledge this morning. You'd be a hypocrite not to at least consider it. Half of my library of games never would have existed without Wasteland.

Well yeah, I mean, of course - but the point is that all the production and shipping costs of that collector's edition is going to cost at least 25 to 40$ of my donation, and I'd prefer for all of it to go to the development.
Also, what with all the cash I've already donated to NMA in the past you should be able to buy a whole shitload of contest rewards by now! :)

I'll send them an e-mail, see how it goes.

Ya, in Norway tho this should not be a problem, since it mandatory to learn from 3th (9 years) grade and up. appreciate the guide, the kikstarter website should have different language fore this game since the predecessor is well known outside of Usa. 127k now
 
Hit 100k pretty easily, and rising steadily. Sure, it may not go crazy like Double Fine's Kickstarter, but it's likely to hit the mark at least.

feel you b, cant spent that much more i either then 101 ddollar. Darn economic global resection. But some of the stuff i do not want i think il ask the forum if someone want , when it comes in the mail. 130k now.
 
Btw. I love the desert ranger star. It gives the whole thing a wild west sheriff-like feeling. I love my post apocalyptic games to have western influences (I think my Fallout 2 mod has quite a bit too much of that already). Wasteland 2 could mix that up with 80s retro futurism.
 
I checked the page this morning when it was still in the 44k, and now it's already at 135k and it's not even the end of the first day out of the 34 they have, this is actually happening gentlemen.

Depends from where you hail. Here there's only 5 hours of today left, but at this rate of increase, it'll be well over 250k by 00.00.

write to kotaku, gametrailers and other websites emails with request for article or anything about wasteland 2. Write even in comments, when they will see that people demand some news they will add it. It can really help to fund it

No need. Fargo is in contact with pretty much every major gaming website out there, and they will have stories up. Eurogamer, Gamasutra, Gamespy and the Escapist already did, more to follow.

PS: looks like the $100 CE will come standard with a digital copy, so you can keep it sealed.

$143,179 right now and its still going up. The fact this much was pledged in only 4 hours amazes me. I knew quite a lot of people want this to happen, but the rate of this is astounding.
