Apparently From Software's next "Soulsborne" style game is going to be sci-fi, so action RPG fans can rejoice.
Nah, too random though I admit... interest from me would be high.Speaking of worlds with rims, they should make a discworld cRPG, especially since they already made a GURPS version.
I think some fellow still boycotting Mass Effect series after the on disk DLC event. Why OP, not satisfied with the robotic cameltoes of the Mass Effect franchise? Or the rich and totally not binary dialogue wheel?

Well they could still make a new series that uses the same gameplay mechanics, like BloodBorne.

An RPG set in the Discworld would also be really cool.
You should take a look at Jade Empire then. It isn't Japan, but you won't find a lot of or any RPGs with a medieval asian setting made by western studios.I'd love an RPG set in medieval Japan. There are actually quite a number of visual novels set in that sort of period that have RPG or base building or RTS or similar elements to them, though being VNs it does also mean a bulk of it will be reading. In Japanese. Which I admit could be a barrier to entry lolI'd love an RPG set in medieval Japan.
