Not really I guess. But they weren't allowed to release the tech demo too, and nobody made a fuzz about it. The deal is, Van Buren is dead and outdated, so nobody will really care about it. Except Bethesda :wink:

Van Buren is deffinately not complete, but some 70 % finished...also, the design plans and content is pretty much all on paper (the design document collection) so a community effort could finish it, remaining loyal to the design goals (everything is set in stone basiccaly, nobody would have to go "MCA" on a paper witha pen :) ).

A man can dream right?

Bethesda knocked him out cold from behind and locked him up in their basement.
Then they hired a facsimile but one in their own image and started to claim that it is the original.

Actually i can't wait either, but that doesn't change a thing...

I have theories of my own...

1. It is a super duper mod of some kind...
2. It is yet unseen concept art that will make you jump off your chairs and yell "Oh no! I spilled coffee all over my mouse!"
3. It is some unseen or unheard material from Brother None or Suaside brought from the only place in Europe where all the 13 and 14 year old journalists could see little ogres running around with cute bloomy hammers.
(4) Can't be something from beth (they won't show any ogres for a while now), can't be from interplay (they're fighting those ogres now).

5. Just a theory. Could it be that we have a "secret" developer of earlier fallouts (maybe even fallout 3) in our forum, who we don't recognize, but who helped Brother None and SuAside actually get into seeing the game... and and... who lives near Washington DC, but doesn't like US goverment... :twisted:

Ok ok, got carried away...

Still there could be an old developer hiding in our forums' shadows and coming into the like the lord himself giving us blessings and beautiful pictures of post apocalyptic culture... and... fallout of course with that......

Hell... it's only a theory.


P.S. And what's whit this "Mr Green" ---> :mrgreen: ? Too many mushrooms or something?

Nope not the Maya ... Nostradamus has foreseen what will happen in the 10th anniversary's of Fallout, we will need just to call him :lol:

i'm sure BN would be swayed to tell you earlier than the others if you made a sizeable donation to the NMA paypal.
 
The only big thing that I know that will happen at 30 of September is the release of Shattered Destiny... I think.

EDIT: I don't see why they can't release Van Buren... except burocratic bullshit. It's not like anyone is going to use it.
 
I was actaully thinking since its been ten years since fallout, we should all really grow up and get over it, I mean it's just a game people! As such there's no real point in running a fan site for such an old game....

NMA will be closing its doors at the end of the month.

But I think if it was something big and great (like VB's source code *sigh*) we'd have NMA with flowers and BN singing happy songs.

ohhhh I just figured it out but I'm not telling you *slap* *slap* err maybe I will say...

In honour of the upcoming release of FO3 NMA will be renaming itself to NOA - No Ogres Allowed

 
I find it amusing that just because SuAside uses his brain to conclude "patience", everyone assumes he's in on it.

(this is an indication it is indeed not related to Leipzig, you bunch of asshats)
