It's not that someone else is doing it. Being all bothered about the fact another nation does it would be stupid, it's the fact that America allows it's allies to do it and supports them, sending weapons, money and resources because of national interest.

I'm not the US Government and never expressed any support for any of those allies either so bringing them up is pointless and only serves to try and downplay what Cuba does.
I don't like Saudi Arabia or Israel either do I have to give some kind of disclaimer everytime I talk negative about some country that's also antagonistic against the US from now on so you people won't get triggered?

The recount reeked of desperation sadly. I see the reason for it, but there was little chance of it doing any good, so it seemed more spiteful than rational.

Yeah, I didn't believe that recount one second. It was a cheap attempt to weaken Trump's position. From what I read about it, the system set up for general elections is very solid. No system is above flaw of course, but you need a fairly large flaw to overturn the result of an election. America's democracy is too robust for this to happen.

Anyway, the recount is stupid and if Donald Trump continues to lead even with it... well, it only weakens the position of the democrats and makes them look really desperate.

Yep, and any nut-job, whether it be Trump or Stien, are idiots for even suggesting it. The amount of levels you have to go through to effect the election in any meaningful way is ridiculous.

I'm glad the re-count push is ending, it's a waste of time and money. But Trump needs to cut out the BS of "millions of illegals votes" too. The guy is just too thin-skinned to ever admit he lost the popular vote.

Worst part is, he advanced pretty much 0 compelling proof for the ''millions of illegals voted'' claim, but a lot of people seem to swallow it hook, line and sinker.

I mean, not that Democrats don't swallow their fair share of kool-aid and then some themselves, but such a brazen affirmation should be supported by very solid proof. He's attacking the very basis of the democratic process in a highly irresponsible way IMO.

It's really fucking depressing. Now I'm pretty socially liberal, so I see a lot of stupid stuff from my "side". And that shit has been there in both parties for a long time now (Obama will enact Sharia law/put people in FEMA camps/take all our guns! vs Bush did 9-11 or he republican party is run by corporations, ect). And it pisses me off (even more so when it's the people on my "side", because it detracts from the actual message). But to have a party get run by that sort of nonsense? That is scary.

It's going to be an interesting 4 years.

Trump is like Superman now. Whatever he does, you can't stop him. If he wants to tweet stupid stuff he'll tweet stupid stuff. He has secret service protecting him and his tweeting activities.

Trump would lose the presidency if he actually did something impeachable, which so far, has not happened yet despite the salt mining.
 
Trump isn't Stalin, having people shot for questioning him or wanting to impeach him if he does commit an action so stupid it's dangerous to the US.

That's FAR more likely to piss China off than a fucking phone call but I sure as Hell don't hear anyone complaining about THAT.

We are also arming Vietnam and allowing Japan to expand their military. This is an effort to counter Chinese expansion. We have been propping up countries to fight off our enemies for years. China will be pissed regardless, but they need our money and we need their cheap goods.
