What's Trump up to now?

But the US does it bigger and with more everlasting effects. Also kind of a shitty defense "Others did it so it's good".

You don't understand, criticising america for bad stuff is simply anti-americanism. If Satan and Jesus raped a child, Jesus would be still above Satan! And criticising him for it, would be anti-jesus! Which makes you pro-Satan. Are you for Satan? ARE YOU FOR SATAN?! So don't criticise the US for doing the same as others. They are the good guys here. Either you're with them, or you're against them. There can be no middle ground here, Walp!

All that ended more than half a century ago.

"The US is no longer going to be a little bitch" implies that they have been fairly passive until recently, despite them being fairly interventionist in modern times.
there was some mentioning of everlasting effects. Damn near every problem the middle east has right now can be traced back to the French and English 95+ years ago. It's Not like they still do this shit today....ohwaitaminute.

Whataboutism is a term describing a propaganda technique used by the Soviet Union in its dealings with the Western world during the Cold War. When criticisms were levelled at the Soviet Union, the response would be "What about..." followed by the naming of an event in the Western world.[1][2] It represents a case of tu quoque (appeal to hypocrisy),[3] a logical fallacy that attempts to discredit the opponent's position by asserting the opponent's failure to act consistently in accordance with that position, without directly refuting or disproving the opponent's initial argument.

The term describing the technique was coined in 2008 by Edward Lucas in an article for The Economist. Lucas said that this tactic is observed in the politics of modern Russia, along with this being evidence of a resurgence of Cold War and Soviet-era mentality within Russia's leadership

@Walpknut

Obama was all talking about playing fair and shit in regards to global politics, which is utter fucking garbage. Let us all be honest here, it is about COMPETITION, period. I have said time and again that both Russia, and the PRC, hell, every other country out there, plays the Grand Game so to speak. There is no such thing as fair, never has been in history and NEVER will be.

I seriously don't get the leftist fixation with peace when history has proven time and time again, in the world of geopolitics, it is dog eat dog.

I follow an acquaintance, who is your typical fucking cuck, posting statements like, 'Putin please forgive the American people. We do not support our governments need for hegemony', and other such nonsense. These damned hippies actually think the prospect of America abandoning its allies is a good thing. Like Putin or the CPC would give a flying fuck about his dumbass apology when they take center stage and American dominance fades into obscurity.

If given the opportunity, or the roles were switched, other nations would have ZERO qualms, about treating the U.S. like Iraq or Syria, if it proved beneficial to them.

I always say, let us take Iran for example, where the fuck was all the complaining when the Persians were stomping most of the world flat? I know it was a while ago but it is one example of how war, and people, rarely change on certain matters.

EDIT

Post cold war, interventionist in the ME maybe. Every single democratic president has acted weak when dealing with other nations. Carter, was one, and Bill was another. Bernie didn't have jack and shit to say about what he would do if the PRC decided to go all hard ass on Taiwan or Japan. I don't even think Bernie was even all that big on Russian sanctions. Then we still have to move onto the lefts fascination with cutting the military budget, closing bases around the globe, which coincidentally, gives us unprecedented military reach, along with making sure our allies do not get attacked.

It's almost as if in all of his business thingies he just went in and talked big, and after he left all his competent underlings did the actual work, and now he thinks he's this super tremendous negotiator of tremendousness.

Interestingly, 22 percent of Republicans supported Obama's (proposed) missile strikes against Syria in 2013. 86 percent of Republicans support Trumps's strikes.
"Obama did it, so it must be bad.

Daddy Trump did it, so he knows what he's doing"

Turns out the Chinese don't actually have full control over North Korea. Man, as a president you really learn new stuff every day!

Turns out China isn't a currency manipulator after all. Good thing that wasn't an important campaign promise.
Eww....Vox. Just no. Yuck.
So far this whole presidency mostly consists of Trump finding out that things aren't as easy as he thought.
Honestly how could anybody find a way to an lose an election to this guy.....oh wait, The Democrats did find a way.

Seriously, go with the times USA. Just do it for once ...

As much as I love the Americans, but America is the bad guy here. That's sadly a fact. You're not the Nazis, but you've killed probably close to 200 000 people with your politics in the last 20 years. The faster the American population accepts the fact that their government is currently the largest threat to stability in the world, the faster can we all progress.

Right now, while most of the world is moving forward, inlcuding China and Russia, you ellected a reactionary leader with the intention to push you back to the glorious 1950s. Where coal was supreme and US policy unchallanged.

You know if you would be Somalia or something similar no one would give a flying fuck. But sadly you have one of the largest military in the world and also one of the largest economies. So when you don't do the right thing, it kinda effects close to everyone. Which is the problem. Stop being so reactionary and become finally a part of the global community for once.

The emperors new clothes ... this is what comes to my mind when I think about Trump and his empire.

I wouldn't call Putins SU speech, 'moving forward'. I wouldn't call the Chinese construction of man made islands, as a power projection tool/stand in for aircraft carriers, 'moving forward'. I wouldn't call N. Koreas rhetoric of uniting the two with force under communism, 'moving forward'.

I don't think it is so much the world moving forward, although we have gotten a lot less dickish, than the presence of the U.S., making sure the other nations do not 'get out of line', so to speak.

One of your biggest gripes is the expansion of NATO. TBH, we do not FORCE, other nations to join NATO. It costs money and membership can sometimes be unpopular. If you want to gripe about NATO expansion, then blame Putin. His dumbass SU speech essentially said that losing the ability to control its neighbors, the ex-soviet states, was a huge tragedy for Russia. This speech, I would consider, was the biggest reason for ex-soviet states to join NATO. Also, PUTIN is the one trying to stand up to us, create things like the CSTO, when it would be far simpler to just toe the fucking line.
