World Cup 2010 South Africa

With Uruguay currently beating Mexico 1-0, and South Africa beating France 2-0, South Africa needs to score 2 more goals in order to qualify. South Africa also qualifies if Uruguay scores 2 more goals.

Too bad for Djibril Cisse. At least he'll feel obliged to score 25 more goals for Panathinaikos in order to wash away the shame of this world cup, heh.

Meh, Greece's formation seemed like 6-2-2. :P It ended Argentina 2 - 0 Greece. Next match will be against Mexico for us. What a shame for most of the European teams. Seems like this World Cup will be latinoamerican.
 
Greece was never an attacking team. We won a Euro playing defensively. That's just the kind of players we have. We could have attacked, but then the score might have reached the double digits. I'm perfectly happy with the 2-0 anyway :P

We paid the price for the horrible performance in the first match against Korea. Had we been more serious there, we could have been celebrating tonight despite the defeat. That's just football I guess. And we can't really be mad for not qualifying when it's just our second presence in a World Cup.

I'll be supporting Argentina in the tournament. It has consistently played some of the best football in the tournament as far as I'm concerned.
 
Slovenia going home after a narrow win by the US.

Apparently they were both good matches. Good stuff.
 
These two matches were the most exciting and open matches I've seen this World Cup. Great fun.
 
Fucking Serbian players ... someone should shoot them they are doing so many things wrong its unbelievable. Well played on the Australian side though.

A dissapointment with Serbia... (i wanted all African teams out by the first round).
 
With my two teams out of the running, I plan on switching my support to the winner of Ghana v. USA.

I was really disappointed with what I saw from Nigeria.

I was almost sure other countries called us Argentina, and Argentine was just the qualifier for our residents. Guess I was wrong, thanks for your support though! The next match for us is against Mexico, this Sunday.

For the petty lulz of knowing that FIFA wants to take a South American seat to give to Asian or African nations that show poor results and overall a lower level of competitiveness in comparison. :P

Is this adressed to me? if so, then on the contrary, i don't want FIFA taking that seat from South America and give it to some other region with proven shittier performance (not that it would matter anyway, but like i said, petty lulz). :ok:
