France are a bunch of cheaters, honestly. Did you see all those times they tried to down the Mexican players?
Nothing wrong with some physical play.

no, i just want it to shove it in someone´s face
The faces of all the South Koreans here?
Also, the main catalyst in that win: Messi. The man who you think isn't a real Argentinean and shouldn't be in the squad.

1 - 0. A deserved win. Even though the German team was better. And you could see that in the last minutes. Maybe if they would not loost 1 men things might have ended with a German victory. But I still think it was one of the most interesting matches so far. :D

Serbia played as I expected...

I wish I was home to see this...

Wasn't really a good game though, you didn't miss much. Germany earned this defeat

How did it earn it? Even with on man less in the team they managed to uphold the pressure and nearly drew level.

Btw.

Germany played well, but so did Serbia. As Inter proved quite decisively this year, you don't need to control the ball and pressure the opponent to be good at winning games.

America v. Slovenia was pervaded by some truly horrible calls. Slovenia were a lot better than anyone expected, but that game was no draw. No way.

Really, all the reffing today has been kind of off. Germany/Serbia saw some pretty iffy carding (and/or lack thereof) too.

I missed the US vs Slovenia match. Were they really robbed of a goal or was the call somewhat legit?

way too many fehlpässe (bad pass?) and rückspiel (return pass?)..

From what I gathered - there was too much pushing and shoving inside the area before a free kick so the ref blew the whistle to draw the play dead and I guess the American dude had kicked it and it went in the net but the play was dead...

That's what I found on the interwebs however, and I could be 100% off.

Not really. The Germans were playing just fine before Klose got his dumb ass sent off, and that sending off was the key to the game. If it stays 11-11, Germany wins convincingly.

I would not have been so sure about that. Would it have been harder. Yes. Would Serbia maybe still won ? Thats doubtfull. But I dont think it would have been so easy for Germany even with 11 players on the field !
