Your favourite New Vegas character?

Chief Hanlon is a cool guy, Lily Bowen is great and Raul overall is probably my favorite because of his pre-war backstory. Some people hate the pre-war stuff but it's some of my favorite things about the series.

Jean Baptiste Cutting was also Sawyer's table top character, so.....

Well, the two simplest ways of roleplaying a character are:
1) A character who would do exactly what you would do in the situation.
2) A character who would do exactly the opposite of what you would do in this situation.

In practice most effective characters tend to be a linear combination of the two, that is "my character is like me in that..." and "my character is unlike me in that...".

Is it Just me or do you wish you could have brought back some sort of upgrade for Rex from Big Mountain. Something like the ability to allow Rex to have a ranged attack like any proper cyber dog. Call it something like "Roxie's Bark" on account of the cyber dog you could make in Big Mountain.

After replaying New Vegas I've developed a real love for the Enclave Remnants. Especially when you just think of them as ex-Nazis their lives and emotions feel very poignant. I really like them because they gave a human face to a pretty cartoony supervillain faction. It also worked really well that you meet them through Arcade, as someone like him, a Follower of the Apocalypse, would never have stayed in contact with the more extremist followers of the Enclave for long, so you meet a more rounded and sympathetic group of people. The pilot who just loved to fly, the scientist with constant goals to achieve, the soldier who constantly questioned orders, the soldier who thoroughly enjoyed the violence he took part in (and believed in the cause he fought for), and the leader who, I guess, was just following orders.

Joshua Graham is my favorite—but not because he's a likable guy! The writing and voice acting are first-rate; and really, the voicing makes the character. I like the Heart of Darkness vibe, especially in its Apocalypse Now aspect (even though I've read the interview where Sawyer doesn't mention this as an influence). There' s something both disturbing and magnificent in his cold self-righteous avenging-angel rage that's oddly appealing—and in context the Bible quotes are . . . chilling.

OTOH, Boone is a psychopath and I dropped him as soon as I could get Cass. But now I'm travelling with Veronica.

In DM, Dean has some great lines; sadly, my early dialogue choices turned him into an enemy.

I like the thoughtful mutants like Marcus and God. And when Neil says "Good to see you again, human."

My favorite character has to be... The Stealth Suit Mk II. I don't call her waifu armor simply because I have a strange attraction to combat boots and knee pads.

Here you go.

Graham. Mobius being a close second.

From the main game, I'm going have to say Victor.

yea Graham was awesome :)
When it comes to other characters there is 2 that I wish that they should've made companions:
Ranger Ghost and Victors. When It comes to Victor he follows you I'm surprised that he wasn't able to be your companion.

Many seem to dislike Arcade, and I'm mostly fine with him, except when he does the whole "riiight - " attitude at sneaking. What the hell... then don't sneak, you bastard, just run right up there with your face and glasses, I'll be sneaking, sheesh...

Not much to add to the characters that have already been mentioned.
This is not really a 'favorite' character but definitely one of the most entertaining ones; Philippe. I love it how he sort of 'explodes' when you do a psychological analysis session on him after which he suddenly realizes what 'baggage' he has been carrying he never dealt with.

Hmm, favorite character is genuinely pretty tough as a lot of them are pretty interesting for different reasons.

Among my most liked characters include Mr. House, mainly because of his great voice acting, fairly compelling backstory, and his ideals/vision for humanity which I found to be very inspiring and Andrew Ryan-esque. I also thoroughly enjoyed Arcade on account of his intelligence and his moral values, along with the rest of the remnants, as they really captured the moral gray area perfectly with displaying how the Enclave weren't all just generic evil baddies. Lily was pretty awesome on account of her being a cross between kind old lady and nightkin badass. Though not necessarily due to the character himself, I loved how they handled the build up to Ulysses throughout the main game and in DLC. It was really creative and genuinely got me interested in this person who we had never even met or seen. He was cool when we met him too, just not quite as compelling as I had hoped.

Also, totally forgot basically every character in Old World Blues. The Sink Personalities, Think Tank, and Mobius were all incredibly entertaining.

So far I would say Caesar. I mean, you come across a character that lectures you on his philosophy that goes into Hegelian Dialectics and other interesting avenues of man's intellectual history? His only downfall in my opinion is the fact that he seems to be a Utilitarian.

Joshua Graham was also pretty interesting and I found Boone's story to be tragic and captivating as well. Overall FNV has spectacularly written characters.

I liked Joshua Graham even before i met him in Honest Hearts. He's a badass and a brother in arms. I also loved Christine from Dead Money, she's the only reason i kept killing zombies all day and night, just to safe her life at the end, fuck the gold or whatever it was in that bunker... though i also went away with the 37 Gold Bars and a lot of others stuff :p
I still have to play Lonesome Road and i have curiosity from meeting this Ulysses guy. From the main game it's Veronica, she's my ass kicker. I like to think that she's my Courier's girlfriend and she's always with me, she's so cute and funny. I always give her Pushy and her Brotherhood of Steel Power Armor and kicks ass everywhere; even from Deathclaws, even if i always play in VH and Hardcore.
