    But... That makes no sense in pokemon's case. They're all the same game. Later games just have more to collect. Which Is a good thing. What's their rationale?

    The Empire/First Order isn't even that much of a monster, creepy overlord chief of state, genocide-o-tron 3000 and a disposable army; to me that's better thab an unkillable array of racially diverse Mary Sues.

    I miss the time when stuff was good, bad, so bad it was good, entertaining, boring, etc.
    I don't understand why now people think everything has a political side. Not everything has it! If you think they do, you have problems and are reading too much into it. Back a decade TV/movies didn't have political agenda, they were entertainment. Ones with that were obvious.

    Everything will reflect the beliefs of the writter, and if we seek to excise that from literature or art in general we end up with a bunch of generic shit. Now it's the work of a good writter and artist to not make the political stuff not be too overwhelming or heavy handed.
