CTD & "display driver stopped responding and has recovered"
Prevent someone from cheating themselves in a single player game, way to prioritize BGS, fucking dipshits. Meanwhile there are people saying that the 1.5 patch has broken their game yet again.
Wait.. Beta 1.5 or regular 1.5?

What boggles my mind is why would they care if people cheat or not?? It's not an online game, nobody is affected, these restrictions are just plain stupid. This pisses me off most because I'm making mods and I rely on the console a lot.

HHAHAAHAHAHahAahahAhahahahHaHaHAHaHaHaHaaaha!!!!!!!!! That is so awesome, not because of her broken game, but because she's not gonna upload to bethesda.net - who wants to take bets whether or not Beth gets scared and starts fixing their site/game? What a shame though, that it had to come to that.

Seems like CK has no localized strings support. Russian and Japanese modders for example are screwed or stuck with english text until Bethesda fixes codepage glitch.

Nah, I don't think so. She does pretty good house mods.

The CK locks up on me sometimes and I can't move objects in the render window anymore or just crashes when I try to save progress. I understand her frustration.

Well 1.5 is out of Beta. I'm curious how unbalanced the survival mode is haha.
Once you figure out how the mode works it turns into a cakewalk as you gather up the resources you need to survive.

Well, prior to it going out of beta it kinda of makes sense to restrict players so that they can give completely honest feedback on how the mode works. But after it's out of beta there is absolutely no reason to restrict things.

Looks like modders are finally learning the hard way. I don't like to attack modders as many of them are nothing short of amazing and artistic and have given me many hours of enjoyment and fun. On the other hand, many of them have been making excuse after excuse for Bethesda, "Don't worry, mods will fix the game!", "People play Bethesda games for the mods! Stop hating!", "Mods will make this game amazing". Its kinda hard for me to feel sorry for them. This has been a long time coming.

If that were true that would be funny
I'll take your word for it, otherwise I would need to mess with the game again and that's not going to happen.

I agree @RangerBoo I love the modding community and have played many hours in games that would have been long forgotten without them, but far too many see the dumbing down by BGS as a challenge to be overcome as opposed to it being a huge piece of shit to be discarded.

There is a reason I never made any mods for Skyrim... I only make mods for games I enjoy playing :wiggle: so all my mods are made for FNV + TTW.
I also never hosted a mod on Nexus because I am not an attention seeker and don't need internet popularity points :postviper:.
I think there are more modders like me out there >_>. I hope...

Well the Nexus is the largest mod site on the internet. Its just easy to find mods that I want there. Most modders aren't attention seekers trying to score popularity points. I have met and spoken to a number of modders on the Nexus(voice acted for a number of them too.) and they are some of the nicest and most supportive people I have met other then NMA. My problem with them is the same as @Spacemunkey. Many modders see Bethesda regression and dumbing down of their franchises as challenges that can be fixed. Sometimes you just have to call a bad game for what it is.

This, it is really sad for the modders, particulary as they do a lot to make Bethesda games tolerable. But fuck Bethesda! If all they do is to basically sell a canvas to people, that's what I am going to call it.
The only hope I have, is that more people will now realize in which direction all of this is going. But I have the feeling this is just wishfull thinking.

And here we see the wild Hines misunderstanding what a mod is. Watch as he accuses the people who have kept the games alive of being "hackers".

It's from before the launch, I think this sums up Bethesda's opinion
Cool, so why did Bethesda give access to the F4SE team? I guess Bethesda is actually breeding hackers. Nexus: #1 Hack site on the web. I guess nifskope, audacity, photoshop and blender are all hack tools. Ah man, that means I'm a hacker! Sweet! :jiggy:

Too bad the canvas already got shit on them that need to be covered up with tons of paint just to hide the reek.
