Cyberpunk 2077

I approve of the fact a game where we can carve people up for their organs will include nudity.

Because if we have one, we should be able to have the other.

I guess we have to pretend to entertain the notion that nudity isn't going to just be titillation in this game.

It would certainly be interesting if sexual encounters with other NPCs led to different results and opportunities of interest based on whether or not your character had augmented certain parts of his/her body. E.g. you have to seduce a megacorp's CEO's wife in order to gain access to a warehouse. Having certain augmentations that help you not only talk game, but also perform would have her open up and give you the literal keys to the kingdom (something like the Mrs. Bishop encounter in Fo2).

I'm hoping for that and sex has been integrated into storylines many times into the Witcher games.

I bet there's going to be something like the C.A.S.I.E. augmentation from Deus Ex.

As an aside I really wish they'd just show off the gameplay, though. I hate how they just revealed a trailer and are now letting journalists hype the shit out of the closed-door footage.

The CP2077 subreddit is turning into Star Citizen levels of wish fulfillment where everything and anything can happen because it's all still a big mystery.

Maybe they simply don't have enough to show yet? No clue. It might better to show nothing, than some demo that doesn't even reflect the finished product in the end. Quite often what you see at such E3 events, is most of the time not even part of the game anyway.

Something going on Twitch that's probably about to go on tonight. I predict nothing special, but what ever.

Was very special. LOVE IT. *_*

The gunfight got me memories of Perfect Dark 64

I don't like the voice protagonist. It's the same shit that I hate in fallout 4 and in any other RPG. This feels like a pre-defined character like shepard from mass effect than my own character like in classic fallout. Besides that the game looks awesome.

Very Deus Ex-ish. Very little in the way of skills outside of a small clip where you open a door using engineering.

Looks fun, good presentation and production values, probably better optimized than any other AAA game that will come out. I liked the Witcher 3 so I don't mind a predefined character, as long as is not in Fallout and as long as it's not written by Bethesda it isn't an immediate negative on a game or RPG.

Altho, if I am gonna be wearing cool Cyberpunk jackets to show how badass and street I am, why am I always in first person? Seems kinda dumb, hope they put in a button to switch between view modes.

Parkour climbing walls and clinging with blades to then quick hack opponents? Please yes, as long as it is only that easy in that vertical slice and in regular gameplay it needing more strategy.

I hope that as well. Albeit I refuse to call it an RPG. It's simply a First Person Shooter. Mind you, that doesn't mean that's it's a bad game, it might be pretty awesome from all I know. And yes, Deus Ex is not an RPG for me either.

To be honest though, the visuals are good however I think they really have to work more on the animations and damage models. It looks extremly stiff and unbelievable, like the characters and NPCs are made out of rubber rather than a person made of bones and flesh (and augmentations or what ever). It's outright hilarious, even if unentionally, how the bodies flop around when they are killed - like at 3:14.

A lot like Deus Ex HR though better in terms of color palette. The cyberpunk dystopia look of various places is appealing to me. As for pre-defined characters, I don't have qualms with them as long as they are competently written and have decently fleshed out history.

From the gameplay, it's looking to be a first-person shooter with RPG elements rather than a first person RPG. I don't mind it that much though I was wishing it was more like Deus Ex 1 rather than HR in terms of reliance of skills to handle anything.

Never mind all the other reasons, it's a cocky developer with an obnoxious fanbase, as seen by the first/third person debate. Wouldn't touch it with a ten-foot pole.
