Don't give a shit about Disney. They blew up the EU, with Naga Sadow, Exar Kun, Freedon Nadd, Darth Bane, Revan and Mand'alor the Ultimate, so why should I care about their Star Wars fan-fiction?
Honestly, I don't care about spoilers. I can enjoy stuff even if I know everything. But just to be save, you should give out a fair warning. You can use the quote tags with spoiler instead of quote, and your text won't be visible unless you click on it.
Also erm.. like with Gizmojunk, looks like a lot of people here didn't see the movie yet. You guys okay with spoilers? I've pretty much given away the entire plot in my rant.

If Luke teaches her, she'll just become a Grey Jedi? Balance in all things. She seems too emotional and will probably fall to the dark side.

We also saw a couple of characters falling eventually to the dark side. But you never see them really coming back. Not even a chance.

Starkiller, this wasn't the movies though.
I am not pessimistic. I just didn't like the Mary Sue aspect of Rey. I know I keep using that word a lot but that's just how she felt to me.I have a feeling this thread is being a bit too pessimistic about how the trilogy is going to go. I mean it feels like Episode IV, but I felt like this was done on purpose.
