Every time again ... E3 rant topic.

Epic comment Ranger boo

How did I miss that one?

I called it, PAID MODS ARE HERE. Honestly not surprised and quite happy that they did this . Even the biggest bethesda fanboys won't be happy when they have to pay for mods, which are free from Nexus and you can actually support a good modder, which is better than this rotten company.

But the number of dislikes is just delicious all the negative comments, it is a balm for my soul! Damn, I wonder how else are they going to screw themselves?

However, I am afraid it is still not enough. We need something even bigger to make dumb masses see how disgusting bethesda is.

They'll come up with something. Just wait.

In the year 2035, Bethesda GameJam Studios will release Legendary Skyrim Special Game of the last 3 decades Edition Ultra, on Sony Dream Cast and Turbo Graphix 16. It will look like this:
skyrim2.jpg

You'll be able to buy all the assets individually. They won't be called assets, they will be called DLCs. Do you want Skyrim to have horses? Get the 'Generic horse DLC" for $25.00 Now you can play Skyrim how it was meant to be played.

So, time to get hyped again about trailers that won't look even close to the finished game, right?

Did some catching up on the E3 trailers they've released so far:

Assassin's Creed Origins: The setting looked interesting but as far as I'm concerned it's a rehash of previously used mechanics. They copied over the UAV/Drone from Wildlands and abstracted it as an eagle. Skipping until sale.

A Way Out: Paying close attention to this one.

Anthem: Looked like Ubisoft's The Division stuck its penis in Mass Effect Andromeda and Destiny. I'm not liking this trend of MMO grinding finding its way into open world games. I stopped playing MMOs in order to get away from the RNG.

Wolfenstein: Unimpressed.

Skull and Bones: Loved AC4 and I love pirates. Will keep my eye on this one.

Far Cry 5: Far Cry 4 with a new coat of paint. Couldn't even bring myself to finish that unbearable mess of a game. I can already predict that Far Cry 5 is going to include overly convoluted characters with no charm, and numerous psychotropic missions. I'll pass.

Star Wars Battlefront II: Cautiously optimistic about this one. Will wait for multiplayer footage to bleed out over the course of the summer from various conventions. A sure fire purchase if anticipated features make it in.

Well I remember quite a few people predicting we wouldn't see the last of Bethesda's paid mod scheme and they were right. I knew they would try to re-market it some other way, but not something as stupidly obvious as a token system in which you buy the tokens. It's like they think were 5 year olds or something. In fact I don't think even a 5 year old would fall for it. The gaming community made it quite clear last time they didn't want your paid mod bullshit, so why are you dumb enough to even try it again? It was a horrible PR disaster for you the first time, and now you just shot yourself in the same foot.

The one thing no one seems to be talking about.
This venture of Bethesda seems to class the accepted modder as an 'official dev'

Since no fine print is shared, I'm going to guess there are some rules that aren't free for everyone to know yet.
From a modder (DEV) perspective, you would need to provide support for x amount of time, legally with consequences. You would also have other legal obligations to not be polite. Not a lawyer again, but my guess is that there will be a contract that is not favorable for the 'DEV' What if you do not meet a deadline? And ultimately, who owns what?

I'm not 100% sure, but I think that the current EULA states that mods can not be transferred with currency, so they changed the name to DLC, but Bethesda already offered SSE with all DLC included and FO4 season pass with an all inclusive DLC.

Does that mean that a modder can change the classification of their 'mod' to DLC and then they can sell it?
I'm going to guess their EULA and TOS will be null legally.

Well the PC Gaming show revealed a new expansion for X-COM 2. That's something for me to look at since their expansions have been decent, if not unbalanced (FOR me, don't want anyone here salty about me playing X-COM).

Aside from that, where's the news on Tyranny? Those pics mentioned today's date unless Tyranny is making its console debut with Sony/Nintendo.

I gotta admit this shit just makes me excited, all hell breaking loose and Bethesda trying so damn hard in order to do some damage control. Looks like the SS Bethestard ship is sinking and it's bringing the crew down with them.

Well to be fair the really are trying to milk fucking skyrim. I mean with the shitty card game they are bring out and DLC for edler scrolls online. Not to mention milk fallout 4 VR. There are literally milking old titles. Leaving there best new titles to the end.

I like Skyrim... But I don't need to be reminded every year that it exists.

It's not that good.
No game is that good.

Not even New Vegas which I consider one of the best games of all time is that good.
I like Skyrim too(with mods) but even with its diehard fanbase its starting to over stay its welcome. Lot of Elder Scrolls and Beth fans want ES6. I don't blame them, it has been almost 6 years since Skyrim. Its time for a new ES game. But Skyrim is the 10th best selling game of all time and the best selling Bethesda game of all time. Because of it Bethesda won't stop patting themselves on the back and milking this cows tits until its dry. They have let the success of Skyrim get to their heads and now their egos have surpassed that of Bioware's.
