Every time again ... E3 rant topic.

Everything's sucked so far (Bethesda more than usual, go figure). Except Wolfenstein 2. Which I am very much excited for. I'm currently replaying The New Order and The Old Blood, both of which are great. Can't wait to keep killing shit tons of nazis.

Except Wolfenstein 2.
It's the only thing I found decent about the whole thing.

As for Creation Club, here's from their official FAQ (https://creationclub.bethesda.net/en):
Is Creation Club paid mods?
No. Mods will remain a free and open system where anyone can create and share what they’d like. Also, we won’t allow any existing mods to be retrofitted into Creation Club, it must all be original content. Most of the Creation Club content is created internally, some with external partners who have worked on our games, and some by external Creators. All the content is approved, curated, and taken through the full internal dev cycle; including localization, polishing, and testing. This also guarantees that all content works together. We’ve looked at many ways to do “paid mods”, and the problems outweigh the benefits. We’ve encountered many of those issues before. But, there’s a constant demand from our fans to add more official high quality content to our games, and while we are able to create a lot of it, we think many in our community have the talent to work directly with us and create some amazing new things.

It's cool that they've finally realized they won't be able to directly monetize mods. Problem is, they will keep saving money by making half-assed games and letting modders do a large part of the work to make the games enjoyable. As per usual.

EDIT: Hold up! I now learned it's actually paid mods, after all. You purchase them with credits, which you purchase for real cash. So, yeah... Bethesda gonna Bethesda.

Bethesda's sugarcoating it but the implications are there. This will hurt them over time.

Look at that dislike ratio:

Also threw this in here for a laugh:

Awesome pic and thanks for the link, they are getting like 50 dislikes a second, I keep refreshing. It's awesome.
Based on Pete's increasingly aggressive responses on Twitter now, he was expecting praise or subtle hostility after the conference rather than the open hostility he's currently receiving.
That's what happens when you pay for your actor audience.

All it is going to do is make people angry. I'm curious who there test subjects are. Probably Chesko, Elianora and Arthmoor again. The only ones they seem to know.

Looks like they are "cleaning" up the truth. Al's comment is gone. I strongly dislike them.

E3 had some good games. The Last Night looks really good. Wolfenstein 2 and Metro Exodus as well.
Too bad I probably won't be able to play Wolfenstein 2 without jumping through hoops or piracy since, well, Germany. New Order and Old Blood aren't available here, either.

Looks like it's up to PC Gaming, Sony and Nintendo to salvage something from the event so far. So many misses and a few hits (i.e Metro, Wolfenstein).

They took Al's, didn't they?

Anyway, unless Sony blows it out of the water, Microsoft is the E3 winner for me. It was announcement after announcement until 42, with a well staged show, and some surprises. It's exactly what the E3 should be.

From the looks of it, yep. His comment should have been high up on the comments but it's nowhere in sight somehow.

At least Microsoft had some demos. But it seems that there has been less demos of games in each conference which is making the cynic (EDIT: that is in me or) that is me more cynical.

I was not interested in waiting for the livestream so I watched some videos instead.

Bethesda's E3 presentation in short

That's it? Well Bethesda always disappoints me and they have not failed this time either, they are not loosing their touch at all and for that I salute them.

Wolfenstein: The New Colossus

I like the television segments for this but when it comes to the game I still much rather play Wolfenstein Blade of Agony.

Why is Bethetsturds conference at midnight on a sunday, do they want no one to watch it? How about 3pm on a wendesday then?
All the people with common sense just figure "Fuck it, it's only Bethesda, I'll go sleep instead".

So we're left with there army of loyal fans, who will cheer any shit they put on the plate.

Bethesda know there market.

Tsc. In the beginning of the trailer, because of the desert environment and the clothes of the time, I thought for a moment in a new Obsidian's Fallout.

oh yeah, talking about that, it would be cool if Obsidian uses the Creation Club to make a new Fallout under Zenimax´s nose hahaha.

I almost can't believe that Bethesda is taking down negative comments on their YouTube page. Tell us how you really feel Bethesda.
They can't remove the disslikes however.

It was about time that this whole modd-thing Bethesda was pulling off is seeing SOME form of blacklash. Let us be honest here, Beth was never exceptional or awesome when it came to modds. It was just an area they simply ignored for a decade where as other developers did everything in their power to make modding more or less so difficult that no one bothered with it. Not to mention that Bethesdas cycle around games was long enough to actually give people the time to do something. I mean why would a modder start a project that takes 2 years, when you have literaly every year a new game ... Anyway, I never really understood why so many people thought Beth was this awesome modd supporting developer, I mean yeah they made a game you can mod, what a novell idea, every developer did this some 20 years ago.

Also, at this point maybe they should fire everyone and put the Wolfenstein Team in charge of everything. It seems they are capable of making decent games.
