Every time again ... E3 rant topic.

Thought I should add too. One of the lies in the Creation Club is that the "mods will not be incompatible."
Now, I've been modding for about 10 years now, what I know of conflicts is that a conflict arises when Mod A edits the same thing as Mod B. So with this international common logic, How do they plan on making Mod A that edits the mesh, texture, damage, swing speed of Weapon A compatible with Mod B that edits the mesh, texture, damage, swing speed of Weapon A?
This of course is one of an infinite number of conflicts.

It is a lie.

Poor Console users. In this whole thing, I feel bad for them the most.

To be fair, Console mods are usually the most simplistic ones, they won't have to worry about anything other than Dildo bats and such.

I lost the Sony conference, I was in the cinema watching The Lost City of Z (I loved the movie, by the way).

It seems to me that nobody was impressed. This E3 is very weak, best game so far, IMHO, it was Ori 2.

Thankfully nearly everyone hated the paid mods. Mods make a game better but they don't make a game good. Skyrim is a bad game and mods can't fix that.
Somehow even Mr.MattyPlays thinks that Bethesda's conference was a disaster.

Well, the new South Park game is finally being brought up again. Season 20 was a disaster.

It's really fucking disturbing to me that Bethesda wants to continue support of Skyrim with as little effort as possible. The transition to SSE was tumultuous with no attempt to take note from popular mods that enhanced the UI.

I don't even think they bothered to fix the bugs that plagued the 32 bit version before porting it over, and now they want people to believe they're egalitarians looking to work with modders and help "enrich" (corporate jargon for commercialize) a tight-knit community that practically sold their games for them.

Unreal.

Seems like this E3 are having really short conferences. I saw Monster Hunter World showcased in PS4, was it Sony exclusive or....?

Edit: Ah, coming to PC and Xbox One, too. Nice, Dragon's Dogma doing pretty well probably help with it.

If only this Creation Club whatever would make Bethesda release better modding tools. That would be cool.
Or, the creation Club would force their modders make mods that is compatible to consoles.

BTW, this is the "application form" for modders to join the creation club:
https://creationclub.bethesda.net/en

In short, modders submit their proposal/mod idea, along with their previous mods to prove they can create mods. Then Bethesda "review" the proposal and if they like it, they give you a contract. Modder get paid when making the mod, but also under Bethesda's control such as schedule and deadlines. The mods would be tested, big fixed....bla bla before release.

The catch is:
1. What if they "rejected" your idea but then make their own mods with it?
2. Does the pay worth it?
3. Is the schedule realistic?
4. How's the work share? If Bethesda involved into the making, and you got paid to do it, then they may claim the ownership of the mod too.

One victim of this was Obsidian, the deadline is ridiculous, and Bethesda refused to pay the bonus by 0.1point. Not to mention they "referenced" free mods such as autumnleave and Roboco.

Anyway, sorry but Microsoft is the winner. PC Gaming had just a pair of solid interesting indies, Ubisoft is all CG but for AC and FC having the same mechanics and Mario Turn-Based. Although Michel Ancel and Guillemot are so huggable, they looked so happy.

Sony. SOTC HD. That's it. No interesting exclusives, no From Software game, nothing.

But they already released a HD remaster of SotC on the PS3 and it came with Ico HD.
I know. I own it. I mean that it's the one thing of interest, and it's a visual remaster. Unless they add back the cut Colossi or something...

Most of what I saw from the E3 about concoles on Youtube is better than the PC stuff. And I know all about PC. Sad. BLAMEOBAMA!

Anyone else find it funny that the alt-right seem to be pissed about the new Wolfenstein game and are lamenting about how Nazi occupied America in the game looks like a dreamland. Fucking idiots.

Speaking as someone who is alt-right, what bugs me most is how quickly the SJW parasites took Wolfenstein II's Nazi occupied USA and used it to mislabel us, and anyone conservative.

It's a dead horse by now to me, but the longer they go spreading this kind of hyperbole without consequence, the more likely they'll be to start acting like ANTIFA's gaming wing.

Between Facry 5 and the New Wolfenstein the alt right is gonna get even more triggered than usual. I mean Wolfenstein even has a black woman hero on it!

If you're thinking about the FarCry 5 petition in any way, that was proven fake. Almost 4 dozen gaming sites jumped on it within a day, the first within an hour of it being posted, and then suddenly it's a viral petition.

Here's a GhostBin with all the sites that covered it: https://ghostbin.com/paste/4cgw5

Even better, the jag-off who wrote it? He works for IGN. https://twitter.com/I_AM_IRON_VAN/status/869593515801620482

GameJournoPros 2.0 is what that looks like to me.

As for FarCry 5 itself, after WatchDogs 2 and FarCry 4's Amita character, I suspect there will be something not shown in the trailers that makes me glad to have not bought the game, and makes some who did reget the choice.

Not sure why people care so much about Far Cry 5 taking place in some hill billy boonies anyways. Unless they're fucking their siblings and thumping a bible they're not the ones being lampooned.

Either way it's a bad Far Cry 3 port with some minor differences... you can literally see and hear the reused weapons and audio, respectively. So much effort for such a dead franchise.

There is a world of difference between a conservative and an alt righter, and the discord showed me 2 people who got triggered by every instance of a black woman in a trailer not to mention I have seen the tweets of people bitching about Farcry 5. So, no, stop blaming everything on journalists brah.

In any case, Nintendo's conference or Direct was better than any of the other bloated presentation so far, no stupid attempts at being hip with "Developer caves" or "Homebases" and they followed it with indepth look at gameplay and features. We are getting 2 new Metroid games that don't revolve around chibi soldiers playing football or whatever. Even the Rabbids game looks good.
