Fallout 3: Are you getting it?

I thought about pre-ordering it but then bad news came in, then good news, followed by even worse news, then good news...Now I don't know. I will certainly not pre-order it but I'm going to play it, that's for sure. If I like it I'll probably order a uk version. Hell, I even have Tactics ( twice... ) and POS so FO3...why not right ? Funny thing is : all of this is because of an addiction to Fallout 1. I don't even like Fallout 2 that much...
 
I might buy it, not sure yet. If I do, I'll get the collectors edition, so if it's horrible, at least I still get a Vault-Tec lunchbox and bobblehead. I like FPS in general, and Fallout 3 might be a good one, but it definitely won't be a good Fallout game :( .
 
No. I'll rather sink my cash into Diablo3 (whenever it comes out) and support Blizzard than add my 2 cents to whatever Todd pays for a call girl.

So yeah; I'll get it, even though I don't like FPS. I might even re paint the bobblehead to have a 13 on its back instead of 101. You know, for nostalgia's sake or something.
 
I pre-ordered it in june. Then bethesda released those 5 gamplay videos and I quickly un-pre-ordered it. I thought it would be a somewhat fallouty game that would probably be somewhat good, but from what I saw, it keeps all the bad aspects of oblivion and then tacts on the the total reconstruction of what fallout is.

Plus I like games that have some sort of common sense put in them.

Cross this...I've just pre-ordered the PC collector...Sold my soul to the devil for the third time. :| Oh well...
 
I understand your curiosity MrBumble and Carib FMJ but you should honestly not reward people for poorly made products.

Just wait a couple of months, second hand copies should be offered by the loads on places such as Ebay.
 
I preordered it, so I am giving Bethesda a chance. Also I love playing RPGs and there are not that many RPGs for the 360 that I like. Yes... I do know that there are some J-RPG, but I want some other than J-RPGs.
 
Yes, I accepted it won't be an ISO TB Fallout, so I'm looking at it as a different game. I love both ISO and TPP, and TB and RT, but I expect that a game should follow the same perspective and gameplay like its previous games when it's a continuation of a series.

I'm going to agree with you there. I'm fairly optimistic about this game, but there are a couple of things that annoy me.
-Med-X
-The train sound that gun makes.
-The Animation.
-The liberties they took with the setting. (Super Mutants, BoS, etc.)
You know, general things like that. I'm going to buy this game and form my own opinion on that.
 
yeah i had it on preorder but i cancelled it (and told the company i preordered it from why i didnt want it)
 
I canceled my preorder. I really don't want to shell out 60+ bucks for the game. But god damn it I want that bobblehead!

That's what I've decided on. Give it a month or less (or more), and check EB games or something similar and look for a used copy. And try to find the bobblehead and lunchbox on ebay.

EDIT>> to try to amend for being a bad boy, I'll just say yes I will be getting it, and know of two people that are buying a copy.
