Fallout 3 Trailer

:) Glad to say I liked it too. . . I didn't see anything really wrong with it as opposed to the concept art and the atmosphere IS fallout. It also looks nice technically speaking ( it is supposed to be generated with the game engine ).

Thumbs Up :)

The teasers not bad, the PA is atrocious, tho'.

Nothing new is revealed except that they have Ron Pearlman, since that didn't sound like the old "War. War never changes."

Also, kudos on using the Inkspots.

The good: they're going for the 50s theme. That's one step above FOBOS, and a good sign. Looks 50s post apocalyptic. I like.

Bad? Well, its hard to say, but I'm not too keen on the evil looking BOS guy and the epic music. The BOS were a secretive, small organisation, and misunderstood by poor FO games where they were turned into paladin uber armourz. I hope - hope - the game's not marketed on big badass warriors like the brotherhood.

But overall - pretty good. It's looking much better than FOBOS, and that's a fine start. If they can get the dialogue and multiple paths - which will be completely new ground for Bethsoft - I'll be very pleased.

We're working on getting it up on our own mirrors as soon as possible. This should not be more than 20 minutes, now.

As for the teaser trailer itself, it's what I expected: you see a big city, no wasteland, with a decently accurate art-style and good use of Vault-Boy.

I wonder how they're going to incorporate the Brotherhood of Steel, considering that it's set on the other side of the continent.

Unless the Brotherhood-logo was actually the army logo, but that'd be faulty canon if I recall correctly.

EDIT: I wonder how they got "Set the world on fire"; Cain originally wanted that song, but was unable to get the rights to it.

Wow ....sweet !
fuck...i peed my pants when i heard Ron Perlmans Voice at the end !

And?

They could have copied that from Fallout 1 or 2 you know?

i can almost guarantee the voice wasn't copied from f1 and f2.

i replayed both in the past week to catch up on things, and it sounded totally different.

Fixed the Digg! link. The youtube link is not our link, we'll put up our own soon.

Upon further reflection it seems kind of... forced... like a cheap copy of the fallout intro...

It even has a similar timing.

While I do agree with you, remember that both Fallout 1 and 2 (and tactics for that matter) featured a man in power armour on the box artwork.

Well they had a lot of things in that bus... Vault Boy, Transistors? Lightbulps, Ink Spots and a NUKA COLA -classic  .

Hmm I am guessing since it is concentrated so much on the bus it is going to be a:
