I like that it's a new breed of dog, altho I don't know which one it is (I know nothing about that topic) the dogs in the previous 3D games looked kind of like "generic dog breed" to me, I would've imagined that a dog in a post apocaliptic world would have wilder hair and not be neatly trimmed, probably even have some scars and the like.

Trailers a game do not make. Graphics a game do not make. However one can look to prior games and compare and ponder. I hope Bethesda seriously has taken a HARD look at the flop F3 was. They even had to change the "canon" ending the rage was so loud. Since then we have had New Vegas, the many add ons, Wasteland 2.
I have been enjoying Witcher 3 which for me at least has both great graphics and a decent story line. Tons of side quests. And more free DLC every week.
Pull a rabbit out of hat Bethesda. Make F4 a game that truly lives up to the glory that was Fallout 1 or even Wasteland. Otherwise pass the baton. As CD Projekt Red has shown it CAN be done, provided you do not try to dilute it so that everyone is happy. Nuclear War and a post apocalyptic world needs to be a MATURE game. Drugs, slavery, radiation, mutants, cars, and guns. Not babies looking for dada.

Looking for Dadda wasn't quite the problem - the problem was that F3 was the very straight narrative of a hero (or even less satisfyingly, of a cartoon villain, until the end).
F1 was the story of a reluctant hero who ultimately learns that the whole world has gone to shit, and cannot really be saved (at least, for themselves).
F2 was the story of corrupted power thriving in a world where the evils of the old world have survived the end times, where the best one can hope for is to avoid being crushed.
F3 really has a very simple narrative of choosing sacrifice or destruction, but ultimately always ends with a heroic gesture (by whoever). Aside from the motivation required to move the player from one binary choice to the next, there is little social commentary, and very little sense that anyone other than the player can affect the world. The story is simple to the point of being unmemorable.

I know this is just a nitpick but I just watched the trailer again and I really don't like the way Beth's vault doors open and close. Really nitpicky on that one but for some reason it just really bothers me. Am I the only one?
I didnt. I assume the moderator removed it. Ask them why they are so afraid.
I'm right though. I bet all the bottlecaps in the world that you will play Fallout 4 and enjoy it too. Oh, and then complain about it to the board.

I think it's just sped up for the trailer's purposes, vault doors in F3 were opening much like those in F1. But still, they look too clean and sterile to me (unless this is from the inside)

Admins, can we build the Fallout 4 board? Probably easier to have this broken into different conversations.
I feel like this will be better than 3, in the same sense Skyrim was better than Oblivion. Fully commit to the idea that's been true for 10 years for Beth that this is an action game first, an exploration game second, and an RPG third.
