Fallout 4 coming out on November 10, free mobile spin-off out now

NMA sure is getting mentioned around the web. Usually in negative ways.
Does even the Codex like us? Last time I went there someone said that we got hijacked by FO3 fans.
Well usually we go unmentioned but now it has begun again. I may save some of the comments.
Ya know the Codex isn't that bad actually. The boards over there make for a good laugh. They are even more resistant to change than we are. I admire that.

Well it is kinda true...has been hijacked by TES/FO3 fans.
It's like you're all trying to convince yourselves that Todd is a swell guy and he might have used common sense/hired Tim to make FO4
Just change this site to ToddWorld
Todd, Pete and Emil have even managed to divide/conflict between their own Fallout 3 fans

People here forgot what "special" system means.
SPECIAL, as defined by Tim Cain.
dumbed down since van buren.
Some people forgot that Sawyer(his Ego) kinda fucked up New Vegas.

Others are obsessed about power armors and gfx.
Yet even others are hyped for mods....fixing again.

Nobody cares about this guy.............................

Whats wrong with new members? Hardboiled Android is new, and he/she has been making good contributions to the discussion. I would suspect this to be a good thing.

Well it's always like this, there is a of new members, some of the mare just rather obvious trolls while others are actually good posters and then some that aren't trolls but are just here to bitch about us not liking FO3.

I think people get upset when a certain portion of the fanbase is resistant to the direction the series has gone. Imagine if someone took Planescape Torment and stripped the dialog down to a conversation wheel.

Apparently you can have several different responses to a question. 8 different personality types.

Its very much reminds me Obsidian's Alpha protocol Dialogue System, there are 8 personality divided into 3 groupings.

Also according to Reddit, the male VO is Brian T. Delaney not Troy baker that many people ranted about.

I saw that too. Doesn't really change the awfulness of the situation but nothing much will. I'm eager to see the dialog on some of the more involved NPC's before I get too bent out of shape though.

I quite like the new design of Mr.Handy, I think it brings more life to them. Even though robots aren't supposed to be alive.

I don't know, it's like the third time already. Just wondering why they keep doing it. New vegas even Joked about it with the Bucket model one being in a museum.

The thing is though, NMA has been around for like 18 years now right? This page was founded by a Fallout 1 fan (Miroslav), and for a very long time there was no Fallout 3. There were entire communities (NMA being one) based around Fallout 1/2. The Fallout culture had been established by the time the game died, was bought and was "re-booted" as COD+RPG elements more shallow than fucking Daggerfall (a game a decade + older than FO3 and TODD WORKED ON IT).

There's no excuse for new fans of the series to think they have to right to Register on an old ass message board, spew their carbon copy bullshit and insist that older fans don't know what makes a good RPG.

We don't know how long this fellow has been a fan of fallout, he could've been one since its release, only recently discovering and registering into this fine community.
