I like the idea of a Vehicleized Power armor. At the same time I feel the way it's implemented here leaves a lot to be desired with the stupid thing running out of power from you sprinting and such. Those weird elements come from a need to balance out the problem that come from them giving out the PA on the very first quest. If it was a super hard to acquire piece of equipment it would feel more rewarding, but now even Raiders have them and you can find a bunch of them all over the Wasteland. They did the same in Fo3 and back then they Band Aided the problem with a perk Requirement thatcan only be acquired by advancing the main quest. It seems they didn't learn from New Vegas, where Factionless Power armor was a special and hard thing to acquire by the end game not something to give the player along with his Vaultsuit.....
I Have been using it heavily because I am already bathing in caps and I have stolen a bunch of them so I have more than enough of those.
It seems it also depends on your level. Feels like Oblivion all over again ... oh, look thiefs with deadric armor, 25 min. ago they had glass armor ...
To get the "enclave" armor to spawn in the game you have to be around 25-28 levels, than you can wander in some ruins and find it. If you get to early there, you will only get the T45, T51 or T60.
I hate content that's based on your level. A lot. It kinda defeats the purpose of wandering around in hope of finding something special, if to much of the stuff is either randomized crap or stuff tied to your level. I hated it in Oblivion, I hated it in Fallout 3, I hated it in Skyrim. New Vegas did a much better job here. If balance is a problem, for fucks sake, make it DIFFICULT to get there or skill requiriements, if I specialice in hacking or lock picking, why should I not get rewarded once in a while? Have a couple of Deathclaws roaming the area - which would also explain why no one else looted the place before you!
