Nah. Instead of chiding them we would praise them for keeping true to the Fallout series roots but instead, since they want the CoD audience and as one YouTuber told me "Fallout is now the CoD of RPG's", we have been left with questioning their direction and being angry at their constant disregard for the lore of Fallout just to get more younger and causal gamers who are seeking a power fantasy into their fold.

You said it. This is the culmination of five years worth of effort--same old clunky mechanics, boneheaded AI, and incorporating the latest fads (aping Mass Effect, Borderlands, Far Cry, etc.).

They were xenophobic and belligerent towards humans, but Klamath Bob does reveal they were the ones who rescued Meansonofabitch from the NCR pricks who were abusing him. On top of that you can empathize with the fact that many of them, Tabitha herself included, feel lost and directionless, longing for the days of the Unity.
That of course ties in neatly with the overarching theme of "letting go" found throughout the entire game.
But screw all that shit... we got us some orcs to kill.

Jesus christ, looks like bolt-action being left handed is mandatory, i'm a lefty with firearms and that is straight up bullshit, i'd get a mod that did it, but any modeler that makes a bolt action left handed as a default is a goddamn retard. With that minor issue out of the way, the a.i. sucks, guy came close to dying so health might be fair, voice acting fluxuates between good and b-movie levels of shite, the list goes on ad infinum. I just thank god I bought this at a big discount from a key vendor and not at full price. I think I'll make a 1 int character amd make him look like Todd and just constantly jump off a cliff, that oughta be fun.

Remember what happend when you created a low intelligence character in Fallout 1 and 2 though:
In Fallout 3 and 4 the lowest intelligence means that you're capable of doing everything. And the highest intelligence makes you into captain obvious.
Seriously, could you ever see a Bethesda game allowing you THAT kind of freedom in their game trough dialog?
Yeah, I am glad that I am not the only one who noticed that retardness. Like almost every bolt action rifle has the bolt on the RIGHT I always wondered ... why is that thing on the left here? I mean they exist for sure, but they are definitely not common. I can only imagine that they did it to showcase the animation better or something. This was the explanation the developers from Stalker gave for the fact that all of their weapons have the cocking handle on the left side - which I thought was stupid, but oh well! I rather believe that the Stalker developers wanted to avoid issues with licences. But who knows. I just think that weapons should at least somewhat follow principles in real life.

Not to mention the insanity and instability brought on by overuse of Stealth Boys. But that would be adding character to your enemies and we don't want that. We just need to make them generic brutish monsters to kill because Power Fantasy(TM).

I think the companions 'walked' off the ledge, but only by two factors:
1. you walked off a specific ledge and
2. you actually survived the landing. If you did, they'll join you on the drop, sometimes taking a shorter path because -legasp- the AI in NV was actually smarter than this piece of shit!
Also, good god, Strong is probably the new "Fawkes" Super Mutant, and they went with the retard route. I seriously wish they stopped making the Super Mutants the orcz, hell this would've been a perfect opportunity to have a Super Mutant that's a wisecrack, racist companion, who will, along with strong benefits of a big ass super mutant, will always conflict with the player on choices that are usually the 'easiest'.

So the reason for the announcing the game 5 months before release, making this huge marketing move with dragon dildos, mousepads, school bags, etc and SPECIAL videos with some nice cartoon animations is game is literally unmarketable with its current state? I hope people will criticize this time instead of saying "but mods!!!!11!!". Also Im really curious if they are going to pull paid mods again or not.
