Dr Fallout
Centurion
What the hell happened here? Is the game or something?
They are really drumming up this whole Jesus archetype this time around. I am really getting sick of it. Never in the original Fallouts and New Vegas were you treated as Jesus. You were a agent if change. Seriously this is fucking dumb!

What are you even talking about? How are you Jesus in this at all?

Centre of the universe... all powerful... a miracle...

With the fact that nothing in the wasteland has changed for the better until you have awaken from cyro sleep and everybody making you the head of their factions because they sense something "special" about you.
Exactly, it's been overused alot in the past few years, I give a pass to trilogies involving the same character like Mass Effect (it's own problems we shouldn't discuss on a fallout site), but overall the cliche has been really worn out. They are really drumming up this whole Jesus archetype this time around. In this? Fallout 4? You're not even remotely that, you're a person out of time caught in the middle. You're not all powerful, a miracle, or remotely Jesus like in any conceivable way. I'm confused.

So if you maybe become the head of one tiny, defeated faction as a military individual from pre-war times...you're Jesus? Makes no sense.
I agree
This is true from what we've seen I agree. However, Bethesda almost always does this sort of thing in their RPGs. You're the Nerevarine (granted that's more of a deconstruction), You're the Dragonborn fated to kill Alduin, You're the only one who can purify the waters of D.C., etc. It's not bad every once in awhile, but The writer's need to tone it down a smidge, and if they do that in this game they have my thanks. At best so far you're a guy who influences events going on, that seems to be about it.
Becoming the head of a faction despite the guy not knowing you before even hitting level 10 makes no sense...
Becoming a memeber? Sure, Becoming THE LEADER? nope.
There is also the woman who insists she is seeing your fate and it's connected to the Commonwealth and some other shit.

Again, they're nearly gone. You're not becoming leader of an army. At best it's a ragtag group of several. There is no issue really.
Let's say you're leading a group of mercenaries in Iraq. You're besieged by ISIS insurgents. A random stranger off the street helps kill some of them. Is the natural thing to do give him leadership?

I love these random, stilted attempts at comparisons to real life and what's with bringing up ISIS?
IT'S A VIDEO GAME. For fuck's sake.
