Fallout 4 Launch Trailer

I would say you can make almost everything work, as long, as the writing is done well. I am not really feeling like androids fitt to Fallout as setting, but if it was really done well, why not? However from what I have seen so far, it seems to be a very generic plot device.

A lot of Fallout 4 feels generic mix in with a bunch of other stuff taken from other successful and popular video game franchises.

That's just it though, there's a big aesthetic difference if nothing else between Zax & various Mr Handy like robots, and a synthetic human being indistinguishable from an organic human being. At this point they might as well have replicators and transporters, since apparently Lieutenant Commander Data is now part of the suite of accepted Fallout technologies.

Dead Money has replicators and Old World Blues has transporters. I disliked their inclusion.

Part of me feels the same way, but it has been done already so I go with it. It fits the setting at this point in time.

And with Fallou 5 Bethesda might make the Star Fleet canon as well.

Whats with Bethesda and their fascination with the protagonist having family issues. I mean, its bad enough that Fallout has become a vehicle for Emil and Todd to pen their fan fiction to the world and make money off it but come on! Some fan fiction writers have more creativity then this!

I would say, that they are surprisingly predictable, to the point where you actually don't expect to be right in your predictions.
Maybe they think they're clever and are messing with our heads? :P

The dad story part played a major role in me quitting F3 after ~12 hours of gameplay. As i am no going to play this one it doesn't bother me, but wow, they are at it again, trying to add emotional depth to their games. Really now, how many players played elder scrolls or F3 for their story, or characters? I just don't understand why are they so keen on making this game even more cringeworthy with their (probably stemming from their personal life) sobbing, corny stories.

 Might as well play this song instead of the InkSpots. Its more fitting. I also like to point out how RIGHT I was about the plot twist with the stupid son being the villain! Saw it a mile away! :aiee::dance: But I am sure that many others on here also saw this twist coming from a mile away as well.
