Fallout 4 went from Mostly Positive to Mixed in recent reviews

The only way how they could probably give less of a shit, is if they stoped to release PC games ...
I would say forcing PC users to use a gamepad, making the menus even worse, and unoptimizing it even more(if that's possible).

As someone has mentioned from somewhere else(for this game especially) RPG for Fallout 4 really stands for Really Poor Game(Design). I would wonder if the negative ratings will keep coming(why the hell is the console versions getting tons of positive ratings?).

Because Rust wasn't released on consoles. And it's open world and a first person shooter!

There's still a smidgen of care when it came to Fallout 4.
They had to at least pretend to give a little bit of a shit for PC players; after all, who else is going to make all of those console mods they think are the biggest thing about their games now?

Could end up going all "you got to design mods to fit a controller" with their games and limit what people can do. Hell, might even try to squash any script extender from happening and introducing their own shittier one with the base game just so that all mods can be ported over. Oh, and mandatory mod transfer. And no using Nexus.

At this point none of this would surprise me.

Another possibility - future CKs that are stripped down to the point where they'll run on iOS or Android - console players have smartphones and tablets, after all. Sure, you won't be able to do much with them beyond making reskins of weapons and armors and tweaking their stats, but that would probably satisfy 90%+ of console players who want to use "mods".

Those 4.5-5 out of 5 stars rating for those pieces of shit of DLCs on Xbox? The same can also be found on PS Store. Any update on console modding scene? Last time I checked, DDProduction fully quits FO4 modding and start making mod for new game (or actually making games on Unity? I forgot).

There's this one guy on Xbox that changed the music to the original 1&2 soundtracks, and made the songs longer. He also tried to make ghouls more like the ones in 1&2, by making them walk slower and reskinned them.

Also Wasteland Imports, which brought some New Vegas stuff into 4, like skill mags and some NCR stuff, as well as changing the bottle design back to Classic.

And then there's Moribund World, which just kinda readjusts weather and the color correction to make 4 look a bit more like the original games.

And yeah, DDProduction quit, flat out.

I imagine those mods, aside from the ones replacing in-game soundtracks, would be very limited considering even CK was dumbed down to accommodate console modding. Oh well, I've already decided to never ever give a dime for whatever BGS are going to shit out of their butthole.

I bet the $99 horse DLC from Skyrim paid mods would get a 5 out of 5 star rating on consoles based on how high the workshop stuff is rated. Of course on metacritic it's rated horribly across all platforms.

I can't blame him. I'd be fed up with the caliber of entitlement that Bethesda.aids, as he put it, has on display and the lack of moderation features available to creators who post through the service.
After the giant shitstorm that DDProductions and Nexus raised about the insane lack of moderation on the site I've seen at least SOME effort out of the mod team now. I mean, the site still has the worst UI imaginable and a base community that is toxic as hell, so there's that...

You are right there, the fo4 community and pretty much the bethesda community is a wretched hive of scum and villany

As I said it would be even before Fallout 4 was released... All it took me was looking at the Skyrim modding community (which was already way more toxic and bad than the Fallout 3 and fallout New Vegas ones) and adjust it to a new game (getting even more obnoxious, toxic and dumb users + more prima-donnas, attention seeking and god complex modders).

A joyous occasion.

I wonder if TES 6 is getting pushed back as we speak, because they need to go back to the drawing board.
TES 6 will be an on rails magic shooter. calling it now TES online is indication of what TES 6 will be!
"b-b- i can have settlement mode in argonia or whereever the f*ck we are next!" - bethesdrones

Will probably be The Elder Sims, just to make the fanbase an even more jumbled mess "Lol, why can´t you nerds just accept that sandbox games are all trash and simulators are the way of the future!"

Just checked the Steam page, the Overall ratings went down 1% (from 79% to 78%). Thing is, it SHOULD hurt the game real bad especially by now there's a total of 70k people reviewing the game, and +20% of reviewers unsatisfied with it means it sealed Fallout 4's fate as the lowest rated BGS's game ever even more. The game's currently 50% off on Steam due to Quake-Con, so expect the rating to go up (if people buying it are 'satisfied', or maybe if Bethesda start to delete reviews (again)), or down (if people finally realize that even at 99% discount this 'game' is still a piece of shit).

Unfortunately, there's still the combined amount of console audiences who gave the Workshop DLCs 4.5/5 out of 5 rating, so...

Most console gamers couldn´t distinguish good DLC and a polished turd. What I don´t understand is why they would buy these DLC when you can just download mods now.
