I'm having this weirdest discussion with someone who are _convinced_ they are "in on" a real Terra Nullius, that they will use to create a new country - a country for autists, ran by autists.
Being an autie myself, I laughed and laughed and laughed, and congratulated them on this epic joke.

This kind of stubborn, pragmatic adherence to "theoretical possibility" almost amuses me. It mostly makes me sigh and eyeroll, but it also can be amusing. They were very attitudey about it also, cus they couldn't tell me what spot this was, in fear that the exposure of this prize would just usher an invasion of other prospecters, and ruin their plans. It took me just a little more pressing, before they revealed the entire plan.

Whenever I have a grumpy morning, I should remind myself, that maybe today I will talk to someone who actually believes they can single-handedly create a new country, in the middle of ex-Yugoslavia, in the middle of contested territory between two nations and two ethnicities.
I have promised them complete and full rights to rub their victory in my face, should they achieve it :]

I just would hate for something this ambitious, and in my face, cus they were attitudey about it, they promised I would eat my words and feel so silly, I would hate for all that, to end up with me never hearing any more from them.

I love Sealand, and yes there was a fire, but I believe the nation is still up and running. Apparently they also press their own coins. Sealand is something I could dig.

However, now that you mentioned Google's safety... I've heard stuff like Google autofilling a search beginning with "how" to "how to make a bomb" and then Google gave out the guy's data to the NSA or somesuch and he kept being hounded by them. They wouldn't believe it was that idiotic autofill or whatever it's called and kept trying to ruin his life. Don't know how true such stories are (I've read it on a Hungarian news site, so a link wouldn't help) but it certainly made me beware of even Google.
