Who is Black Panther? Never heard of him, wasn't that a DC guy?

How are they gonna adapt the Civil War storyline? In Winter Soldier Cap seems to be against an overreaching security so why would he be pro registration here? also as far as the MCU goes none of them have secret identities and there is no implication of a huge expanding Marvel universe in the background with more heroes, Spidey is out of the question too. Will TOny Stark be pro registration? Isn't he like a super Libertarian dude?

Civil War will be altered to reflect the somewhat different MCU. Registration will also be different, most likely they will want to fold all existing heroes into a government unit, which isn't much different than the comics really. Iron Man will be for registration despite his disliking of SHIELD. I'm thinking after his colossal fuck up in AoU he will be for more government oversight, SHIELD is gone after all. He actually held the post of Secretary of Defense at one point in the comics. Tony was actually in charge of SHIELD during Civil War, so maybe they will make a come back in force. They have shown the tension between him and Steve, so it won't be a big leap for them to go toe-to-toe. Spidey has been rumored to be on the bargaining table, but I hope not since I hate Sony's take on the character.

But Sony's take on Spidey has been the ONLY take on the character in live action (outside of that atrocious attempt in the 60s...) and everyone by and large has loved one or both of them for some part of or all of his depicted qualities.

I for one would love it if Sony's even involved, because they wouldn't have that much leverage compared to Marvel Studios, no matter how you try to cynicize the possibilities. They'd be happy to extend the character because it would increase their ownership of the character and it would give them TONS of money, because they know their latest Spider-Man films haven't been nearly as successful as all of the Marvel films- hell, EACH of the Marvel films! -so as long as they think rationally, the possibility is always there. And with a Spidey that many people love, even if it gets tweaked, or possibly even rebooted (yet again) entirely, combined to the roster of a series of films spearheaded by really creative minds forging stories that time after time after time captivate and wildly entertain audiences, how could this be a bad thing?

I WANT this God-awful exclusivity wars to end, already. I'm all for healthy competition, but holding a gun to your head so that people will meet your demands is not healthy in the slightest. Sometimes to get ahead, you collaborate, and a collaboration sounds like a dream right now.

I hope those negotiations don't fall through. =|

The front page just disappeared for me. Well, the forum became the front page.

Anyhow, since this is the thread to share inane shit, I thought I'd mention that yesterday I got my cheap Lenovo tablet (Lenovo A3500l) that I ordered on last Thursday. It's pretty nice. Perfect for what I'm gonna use it for which is mostly studying and reading ebooks. I'm still planning to buy an ebook reader one day. Maybe wait a few months, see if there's better options and prices than there are now.

I like to listen to audio books when I'm jogging or at the gym or where ever. Not sure I could get used to reading long books from an ebook reader, I guess you can adjust the brightness etc. on those?

Many ebook readers utilise e-ink screens. They basically look exactly like paper. Some do have background illumination for reading at night, but those are adjustable, I think.

I made the background black and text white on my phone, great for reading whatever. Finishing up The Last Wish right now.

Hmm, didn't notice this one, answering to it anyway,

Here in Europe we eat blood often.
It has slowly dawned on me, that most Americans don't. One of our many, very specific food traditions that did not cross over the Atlandic, probably due to the lack of need.
"Guys, what about sheep's head? Fermented sheep's testicles? Sheep's penis?"
"Yeaaaaah.... no. It's a NEW land we're looking for, you guys have fun with the testicles."
"Fermented testicles! >:'I"

I never ate a testicle in my life, but blood-sausages! M-m-mmm!

Yep, we have something called black sausage (mustamakkara) here in Finland. It's a blood sausage with these seeds in it. I prefer the 'pure' version without the seeds and just blood. Especially at winter time when it's cold I crave this thing. It gives you a boost because, according to something I read a long ago, blood is the most nutritious food item. If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, blood isn't a bad choice. It's good to be a vampire. >_> Those things are also very greasy so if you're trying to slim down you shouldn't eat them everyday. But, tasty, with lingonberry jam.

Seems like it yes. Our blood sausages are usually quite big, and are made for frying.

"United States
Blood sausages are very difficult to find in American supermarkets, and are often made at home[SUP][citation needed][/SUP], especially by the older generations."
South-Americas have simply adopted the "morcilla"

I keep thinking about blood-sausage, reminding myself to buy it once, and fry some in the pan, but I never remember to actually do it. Now I can't be bothered of course, I allready went grocery shopping. Next time!
In the end, I'll probably have obsessive dreams about it.

in Poland we have kaszanka, isn't it something similiar?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kaszanka

because i hate this thing

Yes, in the "See also" part there is "Ryynimakkara" which is similar to "Mustamakkara" if you switch meat with blood. Not a fan of "Ryynimakkara" either but I occasionally have some "Mustamakkara".

Zegh,

yea we fry ours too. The 'low-carb' - craze has pushed the prize of blood sausages up here, they consider blood sausages to be good 'carb' food, which I guess it is.
