Couldn't find anything video wise about her doing it but yeah it was talked about a good bit.

Always amused me how much apes that learn sign language ask to be tickled. I remember seeing a video where two apes argued over who should tickle the other one.

That’s both cute and adorable.

Look into it folks. Shit's really interesting. Like I remember one of them would sign to itself to be quiet whenever it went to the kitchen to get food in the middle of the night (caught on cameras of course). Sometimes they would take bananas or other food items without asking and then lie or blame others on it.

There is a documentary worth seeing, called 'The Ape Who Went To College'. It follows the adolescence and adulthood of Chantek, an orangutan loaned to a college student as an infant, in the late 70's; where she would raise him as her own child, and teach him sign language. It is an amazing, though ultimately heartbreaking story; made worse with the recent news that Chantek has since died in the Atlanta zoo [2017], at the age of 39.

Late in the documentary, Chantek gets housed in a general population of orangutans in a zoo. He dismantles some of the playground equipment to try to bribe the guards; he was accustomed to paying for things with steel washers (as coins). He was disillusioned, and distressed at finding out that other orangutans were not like himself. Disgusted, he described them as Orange Dogs.

It does not end pleasantly (at all; though he lives though it), but it is still worth watching it if you can.

*intense worldwide debate on coffee control begins*

Over here you can buy caffeine chocolate, and even caffeine chewing gum. The Nazis used the caffeine chocolate for pilots in WW 2. So it's not like it's a new concept for pilots.

This is how you advertise chocolate to little kids. You can still buy this stuff in a similar package, minus the eagle & swastika.

I almost made a joke that the eagle and swastika looked “quaint” and “nostalgic” but tbh I worry people would think I’m being serious

Heh, got the Norwegian Wiki page about hypodermic needles up, I just wanted to get some vocabulary down for fiction writing research, but at the bottom of the page is a big, concerned disclaimer, warning me not to make medical decisions based on internet info.
Reminds me of couple of months ago, when I was wondering how to go about researching methods of hand-to-hand murder, in order to depict such a scene realistically.

I am going to tick off every kind of internet monitoring alert, one topic after the next, am I not?

Depends. Are you asking Mutie? Then yes.

Are you asking me? Then only on Tuesdays (I get really into sharing on Tuesday)

Communism to me is something that Soviets had, and maybe Chinese in Mao's time. Y'all in America need to upgrade your thinking, and stop thinking you can just rape and pillage the planet and it's all cool and stuff.

Your prejudice is showing, bud. Not all of us in America believe in the atrocities our country has committed. We’re also not the sole cause of misery in the world.

EDIT: To change the subject and not start a flame war in which Mutie will call us The Great Satan and I’ll say that Finland being irrelevant does not = good, remember to tell your girl you love her, then sing Bruno Mars as poorly and loudly as possible to her, preferably while she’s trying to sleep. Did that to Alondra, pretty sure she appreciated it. Told me to sleep on the couch, she was so overwhelmed with emotion.

I am best boyfriend.
