In more weather related news, NOAA released their spring outlook for 2015

In short:
-Greater chance of flooding in the Northeast and Ohio River Valley
-Higher temperatures to be seen along the Pacific coast and parts of the northern Plains, while lower temperatures expected in parts of Texas and New Mexico
-Smaller chance of precipitation in the Pacific Northwest, while the Southern part of the US along with parts of the Southwest to see a higher chance of precipitation
-Some drought relief in Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Kansas and Colorado. No real lessening of drought in California or the Great Basin, and drought expected to develop in the Pacific Northwest.

Considering that I'm still new here, what are those little radiation symbols at the bottom of all of our usernames? Does it change depending on how many rads you have? (that is my best guess)

Huh, number of "rads given" is not a bad guess for the radiation-symbols underneath the avatar.
I'm still not exactly sure how it works (although it is in essence a post-counter), but you always got those with more posts (such as dopamine cleric right there) yet with less "rad symbols" than someone with less posts, such as walpknut right above him.
It is a conundrum!

The rank system is broken.
It's based on posts made total, but it's been mixed up due to the site moving over and having changes done to its code.
