*shrugs* maybe, maybe not I mean that is the point, you can never be sure with pirated software you know. I just always feel that if you pirated a version than you have really no basis to talk about the issue beeing on the side of the game. Like none. Really. And I don't mean this as insult or what ever. Can confirm Hotline Miami 2 torrent works just fine, it's definitely him using Windows XP... I guess you could wait for the Windows 10 release if you're really short on money, but yeah, it's time to get a new OS.
 
So I can't run it on Windows XP? That really sucks. My PC is too weak for Windows 7, also I've never really needed it (I'm not a gamer type) so I've never thought about it.

Lots of people that have been XP users recently have transferred to Ubuntu, as far as I know, since Microsoft no longer supports XP. And I think HM2 can run on Ubuntu, which is generally a lot "lighter" OS than Win7. You could just download it on their website (it's legally free), put it on your flash drive or DVD and dual-boot...in theory. I have never personally tried that, but lots of my buddies have.


Also guys, I don't want to be backseat moderating here, but warez talk is not the smartest thing to do.
 
Talking common sense was never considered "backseat moderating" until some individuals felt like exercising that rule to shove their weight around, just because of the individuals speaking said common sense. Politics as usual.
 
Leave the moderation to the moderators. I don't like some things moderators have done in the past, but I never felt any reaction would help. Also moderation in users shouldn't extend past: "Hey, there's this rule that I think applies to your post, for your information." I suppose.
 
It's never Bethesda's fault. Bethesda is flawless and Todd Howard's genitals are just so sweet and delicious we should never stop sucking them.
 
That doesn't apply to New Vegas tho, I never have any need for most quest mods in that game I just download mods that improve on what was there, like Project nevada, Lexx' no skill tag mod and the uncut series.
 
Sadly, there are not many good mod quests to New Vegas. Someguy2000's mods were good, A World of Pain was also decent, althought ridiculously hard sometimes (or maybe it's because of millions of other mods I've installed?)
 
I like the someguy's mods, the Boulder Dome and Dog City mods are very very well made but the writing is kind of crappy. Niner is a cool companion mod too.
 
They readd some of the cut content from New Vegas, some minor quests, encounters and dialogue options, and the best 2 of the uncut series are the ones that remove the gates separating Freeside into multiple zones and the same for the Strip so you actually get a huge Freeside and a Huge Strip.

New Vegas Redesigned is cool too. They touch up the visual design of characters to make them fit with in game descrptions, voice actor, lore and even just redesigns the mod author made (optional ones).

Yeah, both of those are pretty good. There are plenty of lore friendly mods for New Vegas if you know where to look. It isn't all just nude mods and other bullshit...

Just watched Walking dead...

Goriest episode in a long time. Sticking closer to the source material too which is great.
 
Anyone concerned/affected by the drought going on in the western United States? It's pretty bad, and it doesn't look like it's getting better. Maybe lake Mead will dry up and the NCR will pull out of Hoover Dam. I don't really know why I'm so attached to the drought, it's strange.

It is pretty bad. California is screwed, even where I am in Oklahoma it has been real dry the past few years. All the crops burn up pretty easy. Not much we can do about it at this point.
 
Those gigantic holes in Siberia aren't due to Global Warming, more likely the Silver Surfer has chosen our planet for the shitty cloud Galactus to come destroy...
