General Gaming Megathread: What are you playing?

Diablo 2: Lord Of Destruction

Singleplayer with 8 player "cheat". Played for two days and are already half way past Act 2... But I have died several times too due to the 8 player code.

Considering either to play Deus Ex or Metal Gear 2 Solid Snake again.

Last three days I was busy with the three Fallout 3 DLCs.

Playing Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy, MidWay's 2004 cross-platform shooter and, honestly, it's pretty sweet. It's not perfect and the story so far isn't that good, but the gameplay combo of stealth, shooting and psi powers is really well done.

Pretty badass so far. And it's free.

I just installed the Spore Creature creator on my laptop. I didn't realize my laptop was able to until now. Well, now I'm thinking about picking up Spore for it and I'm going to find a copy of Vampire: The Masquerade.

I wish they could make another one.

Though I double-wish they don't fuck up the last third of the game like they did the first time around.

Invisible Psy-Mines my ass.

Started playing FarCry 2 again.
It has no story and the missions are quite repetetive but i love the atmosphere of the game. you go around, shoot, kill, collect diamonds...yeah...mindless fun.

No don't, it's really really bad. Only the cell game has any depth or good gameplay. The other modes are just boring overly simplified wastes of time.

Creature stage is engaging, if you only because you contiously tweak your creature.
However after that it's pretty lame, though the new expansion pack seems to jazz things up a bit.

Yes it's a pretty cool game. Havok at its best.
However I wish it had a real coop mode instead of that half-assed gamemode. Awesome game nevertheless.

I just purchased Kessen 2 and Dynasty Warriors 6 so I'll be giving those a go in a few moments, more of the same as far as Dynasty Warriors goes Im sure. I also borrowed Red Dead Revolver from a friend, that was quite a entertaining game, looking forward to Red Dead Redemption which is coming out in the near future.

I'm playing a lot of HOI2 DDA HSR lately. I'm playing with Communist China, its 1942, and the Japanese are rentlessely attacking China and the United Front. I've encircled and killed more than a dozen jap infantry, and yet they still try a offensive. Japan is pretty powerful, though their war with USA is probrably taking its toil on Japan. I helped Nationalist China a lot, but now that I liberated all my territory from Japanese hands, I'll go on the defensive until about 1945. My domain, right now, consists of the former lands of Xibei San Ma, Sinkiang and Tibet. Then I have two plans:

If Soviets win the war against Nazi Germany:
Then I will wait for their attack against Japan and the "Manchuria for Mao" event. This will give me a edge against Nationalist China.

If Soviets lose: I'll retreat to total defensive and let the Nationalists keep the Japs at bay. I'll begin to conserve my manpower. Then I will buy all Nationalist Chinese blueprints I can, end our alliance, position my army and start encircling manuevers to kill off their army. My plan is to take over the industrial heartland and begin pumping out troops while this forces them to keep both me and the weakened japs at bay. Eventually, they will reach a breaking point and I can take over. I will have to take care or the Japs will come for me, though. When that arrives, I will have to fight them directly. And then its time to focus on the Nazi menace.

I've dusted off an old classic, Veil of Darkness. I completed it once sometime in the last century and only remembered bits and pieces of it.

Enjoyable setting, but Quest For Glory IV did it all so much better. Except the bit with the werewolf. I think that moment deserves a place in a "Top 100 Gaming moments of all time."

Tried downloading that Psi-Ops thing, but fileplanet keeps redirecting me to the front page when I click the "download" button. Where else could I get it?
