GTA V

I don't even have a console anyway. I wonder how long it will take THIS time for the hype machine to wear off. People are even excited about on this forum. Open world games lack quality and focus, it's always been true. So I don't get excited about CarDrivingDrugReferenceMurderSimulator 5: Totally better this time.

Indeed. I still remember the huge hype 'n shit about GTA4 when it was released. It was the best game that ever existed. And now on GTA5 release - bam - people find so many flaws in the old game, which GTA5 (of course) avoides.

NMA has an article about it - The Rybicki Maneuver.

I don't really get it, since back then when it came out, people were pointing out the flaws of GTA IV and many wished it would be a different game.

I also don't understand the comment about lack of quality, rockstar games are known to be very polished and stylized normally...

Jup, just as with Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout 3,... There are always people who point out flaws. Doesn't mean it's the majority, though.

I'm surprised that there are too many idots in the world.

The comments gave me a hernia.

That is not how you use the word "fuck"

Context is required.

Also, remember the days when people knew what syntax was? Those were good days.

I don't know what you mean maybe because I need more study about English but I haven't used any f-word in my comment.

anyway they are stupid not because they ban PC version but that's not the good way to prevent piracy nor help Rockstar to earn more money. and for piracy, aren't there any piracy for PS3 or Xbox 360? I doubt it.

Indeed a retarded petition.

Not even mentioning that piracy is going nice and cosy on the consoles as well.

I meant the comments in both the Petition and that gimme gimme games site.

I apologize if I caused any offense to you.

No I just confused about "That is not how you use the word "fuck" " I thought you pointed out my sentences wrong point.
sometimes it's hard to understand foreign language's simple sentence.

but your right about using "you" since that one of idiotic comments with f-word were written by my country's people who are angry with this Petition.

I dunno, I loved GTA IV. It surely had it's flaws, but, overall, I liked it being more "serious" and "realistic" than previous games. And it's one of my favorite games actually,
I never finished San Andreas, because it was too vast and too "game"-y And I'm afraid GTA V goes the same way. I was hoping for something more dark and serious (if this can be even be said about a GTA game).

By the moment, without having played it, I really dislike two things: 1. Rockstar turning into money-drawing monster with all this pre-order (and I assume post-purchase) small DLC stuff (weapons, cars etc).
2. Super-duper powers for the protagonists. Yes, they took all the cool stuff from RDR, Max Payne. But this one feels a bit out of place in GTA for me.

Though I have an xbox and totally want to try it, I think I'll wait for an inevitable PC release. I can't believe R* misses the chance to grab more money. It won't surprise me if they announce PS4 and Xbox One versions soon too. For now, I don't want to pay a huge bunch of money for the outdated graphics and gamepad controls in the shooting game.

I've played it for about an hour and a half, and it's pretty great.

Took me a while to get used to driving again, but once I got the hang of it, it works better than in GTA IV.

Also, a good chunk of that time was spent at the gun range trying out all the weapons.

The Minigun is back and it is freaking amazing.

I also liked GTA IV and its darker tone. Nico was certainly a more appealing protagonist than CJ, who underwent precisely zero character development over the course of the game.

That said, I'm looking forward to playing GTA V on PC. Rockstar won't ignore this platform. I actually thought yesterday that they had some sort of gentleman's agreement with Volition, delaying the PC port to work on it better and allow Saint's Row IV to benefit from its availability on PC.

Not that I really care or look for character development in a GTA game, but yeah I didn't mind that in IV. You will like GTA V then, Tagaziel.

This game is great, and I'm only two missions in. The first thing I did was switch off the auto-aim crap, and for the boring third person shooter with a cover system, the shooting mechanics are awesome. Also, I've found the AI to be pretty smart so far, at least with flanking and taking cover behind less obvious objects like street lights.

Dialogue and voice acting are also top-notch, some of the best i've ever heard in a game, the banter between Franklin and Lamar sounds really authentic, as if they've been friends for life.

I've robbed a liquor store, which is a cool feature, but I hope it isn't an easy $700 with a limited police response everytime.

Sorry that I go off subject but after reading much how GTA V has made I suddenly had to think of an news post I read on Capcom's current financial situation.

Right now they only have $152 million dollar on the bank.
I don't know what that means regarding their financial health but when I read that GTA V made $800 million, I'd say that company is basically a walking dead man.

But damn, if every game publisher will from now on try to make that much money, they will probably throw out even more niche genres and gamplay.

Where did you find that liquor store? In my game, they are not pointed out on the map, I also tried out robbing gas stations etc. but never found one you can actually enter. :(

Holy crap! The first Trevor mission in the game was just....wow...

That was the most conflicted I have ever felt about a mission in a Grand Theft Auto game....damn...

Johnny was the player-controlled protagonist of Grand Theft Auto: The Lost and Damned. For hours in the DLC, you would root for that guy. Trevor murders him for for no real reason and then you have to wipe out all of the characters that stood by you in that DLC. [/spoiler:673825be13]

I am surprised that the writers of the game did that...
