I think Nuka World and Far Harbor were quite good.

The fact that I have seen his blog (it was linked via TV Tropes) and that some of the points there made sense makes me wonder what happened to change him into such a shill.
I'm just not going to feed into it. He'll go away like all the others and I don't like spending my time talking to people I don't like.
I don't like people that play with other people's poop, I made an exception for @Vergil

Hey guys! We have another obvious troll!!!

What makes you think they are two people?

Fair point, I may eventually do the same if this keeps on going. Also, I noticed that their ages are similar... Hmm....

I'd like to state I don't find anything humorous about making fun of mental conditions or birth defects.

I'm sorry you're not enjoying our conversation, Cerberus.

Is there anything I can do or say to make up for my offense?

Hey, you're not that bad. I've dealt with far worse (some other guy comes to mind) but I can't keep this discussion going forever (since I do have real life to get back to).

I think you'll just have to start being more open to the more hostile reactions here and understand where they are coming from rather than dismissing them as mere hate. Also, try not to spout unresearched fallacies and points as Fallout facts. NMA is a Fallout fansite and can spot such fallacies a mile away.

I'll try. I understand the hostility to Fallout 3 and believe me, I share most of the complaints about Fallout 4. I am a big fan of Borderlands so I am willing to go fairly long with the "gunplay" based Fallout even though I am infuriated by the new Perk system which might as well not exist. I also have overstated my opinion that I enjoyed silly fun Fallout and grand spectacle because while I certainly do, I also do love good writing and lore.

Believe me, the whole power armor thing in the Commonwealth had me throwing my hands up in defeat and I can make up an excuse for anything.

I had a lot of fun today even if I posted a hundred more posts than I probably should have. It's just good to meet people equally as passionate about Fallout. I used to post on the Bethesda forums but since they moved, they're just not the same.

Plus feral ghouls do go insane in the earlier Fallouts. Is there any reason why 200+ year old irradiated bodies can leap like crazy and sprint?
Radiation. :)

To me that's a cop-out answer rather than having a decent explanation. Radiation shouldn't be some magical force, even the science fiction of the 50s had its limits. Otherwise it ends up like Metal Gear Solid 4 hand waving everything with "Nanomachines!"

Well I take it in the context that Radiation in Fallout has the effects of mutating human beings into strange creatures the same way it does animals. In this case, ghouls are weird zombie-like creatures who have dramatically reduced aging and physical needs.

I still think they need to be able to eat, though, as I object to the idea they're actually undead.

I came around to aliens but that's a bridge too far.

They aren't supposed to be Infected from 28 Days Later. As much as I also somewhat dislike F3 and NV's ferals, they at least move more like physically decrepit beings than F4's.

At least we agree ghouls need to eat and drink though.

Do not make me wash your mouth out with soap.

Interestingly, F4 did say that certain mutants had developed ways to feed off of radiation. In that respect, these ghouls might be very well fed indeed.

It even explains why they're green.

:)

Far Harbour was competent and Nuka-World should've been worked into the main game with the raiders being an alternative to the minutemen.

Imagine if when you found Preston's group under attack in Concord, you could've had the choice to side with the raiders who, in this instance, would've been led by Gage.

Nuka World is such a disappointment. The trailers and commentaries from Bethesda make it sound like "Oh fuck yeah, you can raid the commonwealth and do the mainstory as a raider, helping others for caps, shootin' and lootin'!" Want to get into the Institute? Hell just have your gangs move in on the building and construct a big ass bomb to blow an opening in the building and the numerous levels below it! Fight your way in and cause massive havoc! But nope. Funny how there's a guy on youtube who makes builds and 'backstories' to the character, and made an Overboss kind of shit...who did he side with? THE FUCKING INSTITUTE, lmfao.

That would have improved the DLC tremendously.

Yeah, I've been saying that since the release. Libertalia and the racetrack and the Combat Zone made it look like Bethesda actually planned to have a raider option right from the start, but cut out everything before release.

The Racetrack was actually horrifying as I felt like a bunch of gamblers thought I was a Raider or something as I had no idea why I had to murder them all on their vacation.
