It's again that time of the year ... or Muslim bashing!

We definitely need looser gun laws then, because if the criminals have to jump through that many hoops to get a gun, then law-abiding citizens with proper mall-ninja-aspirations have to as well!

I would much rather everyone have a gun than just the crazy people willing to go through all those hoops. I mean it's such a broken argument. A dude killed 80+ people with a truck, what're we gonna start banning trucks now? You Euro folks laugh at us but I tell you what if some dude tried to shoot up a mall in Texas he'd be swiss cheese before he could finish saying "allahu ackbar".

Just for the record, criminals got this gun in 2014, long before our stricter legislative affected by Charlie Hebdo attack started kicking in.

Also, too bad that Crni has jinxed whole Bavaria with this thread!

Well... you know... trucks have OTHER uses then killing people.

I know, it's crazy.

Yeah, you get heroes trying to kill shoplifters.
Or, you know, you sometimes guns also help in arguments:

Or it just happens:

Yeah, guns are good. In the hands of professionals. The thing is, too many of these "I NEED TO PROTECT MY FAMILY" types are not professionals. They're aspiring mall-ninjas with power fantasies. Most of the time they don't actually help when they're armed, they're in the way.

...

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

You mean killing the people who want to kill you. In the end, it's ALL killing.

Dude, you don't understand the american way of life: It's not killing if it's for FREEDOM.

Better I kill them than they kill me (and about 130 other people or however many the death toll in Paris ended up being; so many wounded)
Yeah, guns are good. In the hands of professionals.
Oh yea, because when a guy breaks into your house at 3am or opens fire in a crowded building you've got plenty of time to sit around jacking off and waiting for the Police to show up.
It's a way better solution that no one has guns so that when an attack does happen the shooter gets to have a field day on all the unarmed civilians before the Police show.

Better I kill them than they kill me (and about 130 other people or whoever many the death toll in Paris ended up being; so many wounded)
Sure, all I want to say is that guns have only one purpose, and that banning them is different to banning trucks.

Both have about the same effect on stopping terrorism.
Except one has a larger negative effect on society and the economy.

And actually... hmm well SOME statistics do support that banning guns (or making stricter laws) helps stop GUN VIOLENCE IN GENERAL (just to make sure you get what I mean).

Because the person carrying a gun in a mall out of fear of terrorist attacks is clearly the type of guy you want defending you?

84 people died in the Nice attack.

Australia's a good example of that, we had semi-regular mass shootings before we enacted stricter gun laws. Since 1997 we've had only one mass shooting and *3 terrorist attacks, relatively minor attacks at that.
I saw a movie once in which only the professionals had guns!

And you complained about me using the Nazis to justify my political beliefs.

/Edit
*4 terrorist attacks, though one of those occurred pre-9/11 and was committed by a Christian fundamentalist.

Care to post them. Although this really should be it's own thread if we're seriously going to debate gun control.

Yea you'e right, it's so much better to just have no one there at all! And I wouldn't need to worry about someone else protecting me when I have my own gun as well.

Wasn't referring to that. I was talking about the theater shooting.

Yea well you also have gangs running around in leather fetish gear, football pads and bad hair cuts.

Before I begin, shut up about gun control now. We all know where gun control threads go (:vatted:) and I'm sure Crni and the rest of us who want to discuss the subject wouldn't appreciate that. Go and make your own gun control thread and stop discussing it here now, hell, I'll go and make one for you if you don't shut up.

So lets clear up the AFD's policy proposals so everyone knows what they want, and we are not just hearing about them by word of mouth from Crni Vuk and assorted right wing people on this forum, and then you can make your own mind up.
  • Euroscepticism: it is anti - Euro and thinks Germany should leave the Eurozone
  • It promotes Christianity and family values. One of the main planks of its program is promoting traditional families and abstinence. The Deputy leader opposes a "use condoms" campaign in favour of abstinence, and thinks society is being "sexualised".
  • It is sceptical of climate change and opposes Germany's clean energy transition.
  • It would also like to see the reeintroduction of national currencies, and no more German payments to the European Stability Mechanism or to bail out banks.

What the one where the shooter thought he was the Joker? Or was there a new one? 12 people died in the Batman theatre shooting.
By the way, I still await your response from my earlier reply.
I didn't really have any opinion on your earlier post, sure the Holocaust is overused in political arguments but who cares? It wouldn't have changed anything if I substituted the Holocaust with the Armenian genocide or whatever random atrocity popped into my head.
We all know where gun control threads go (:vatted:)
This thread has been about Islamic terrorism for ~20pages, if it didn't get vatted then it won't get vatted now.

Yea, we're more than capable of making a thread if we want to.
Fuck outta here with that condescending shit.
its not your thread to derail about a stupid useless subject, go talk about it on a thread called gun control you tit.
Back to the subject, what do you guys think on the AFD's policy proposals?

>complains that we're not staying on topic
>proceeds to not talk about the thread's topic either
If you want to talk about German Political parties and the AfD why don't you make your own thread?
