STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI (HUGE SPOILERS EVERYWHERE)

The Last Jedi:
The Asian Girl doesn't know how to park her ship (and it's a plot point).
The Black guy is a bufoonish coward.
The Latino is a thief that infiltrates places he shouldn't.
The other latino needs to shut up and listen to the white people.
And their struggles are unimportant.

Peak Inclusivity.

You forgot to mention how Rose is a bumbling hypocrite that preaches about love saving the day, right after she crashes her ship into the person who was about to sacrifice himself for the people he loves.

Also, Animals are more important than enslaved children.

Also Graves, seeing how you need everything explained. I am making obvservations about the roles the "minority" characters ended up with in this movie which clashes with the whole marketing line about how Inclusive and progressive they are.

There was no marketing for that tbh.

Guess I just don't care about star wars enough to pay attention anymore. I mean it's been ruined three times over and fucks sakes all there is is three pretty good movies and a good cartoon built around three horrible films...

Star Wars is a cash horse "now"

Bitch Star Wars is the literal definition of a cash horse ever since Day 1 of A New Hope on cinema what are you on

I guess Mutant Scalper has simply never asked what the true meaning behind the Ewoks was.

Exactly what I said, SJW is now a cash horse for Disney. Get ready for SJW cartoons and cameos from Mickey Mouse etc.
Fixed.

I'd say it started to be a cash cow during "The Empire Strikes Back". "A New Hope" financially was Lucas grasping at a lot of straws, like hiring big actor Alec Guinness in a cast full of (at the time) nobodies, so it would behoove moviegoers to see the movie.
You can tell how low budget the movie is, compared to the following movies. Lucas didn't even show up to the opening, because he thought the movie would flop commercially.
Even before the movie's release, many toy companies rejected making Star Wars toys because it was unknown at the time. IIRC Hasbro accepted the rights and look where they're at now with Star Wars toys.

The very first EU novel, Splinter of the Mind's Eye, was written as a possible low budget sequel to Star Wars, and it shows. The cash cow mode started with the Holiday Special and really took off with Return of the Jedi.

I guess there was a little more restraint back then on how to commercialize Star Wars which then steadily started to diminish.

New Hope wasn't exactly art house cinema, yes I know that. But still, Disney just seems like the 'Microsoft of cartoon'. They've announced a new series now, they're making them in batches now. SW theme park at Disney world coming up I'm sure.

I get you are sheltered as fuck, but you could at least google shit Scalper.

Next time, MutantScalper will warn us about The Transformers becoming a toyline.
