The Outer Worlds information overload

I played Red Dead Redeption 1, I got bored of it like 3 hours in, specially when I realized the "Activities" loop it had. Don't know why I didn¿t realize it was a Rockstar game or I wouldn't have bothered.
So basically you got bored during the setup to the story when you had to pay Bonnie back for saving your life? Ok great.

Yeah, because it showed me the activity loop, just like Bully. I get agressively bored of those "activity open worlds" so there would be no point in getting into it.
I tried ignoring the plot and do Cowboy shit but then I realized there are also no concequences to doing anything like in a GTA game; Which aren't my thing at all.

Count me in as not being a Rockstar fan. Their "open world" games get stale fast.
I never tried RDR games, but I assume it's just GTA in the wild west.

RDR is good for Wild West feels, but I hate the writing. Less grade school jokes than GTA, but just as many worn out cliches. And for a Western, it manages to be surprisingly preachy about politics, as modern Rockstar always is.

Pretty much, yes. I liked it better than any GTA game, but that's not saying much.
You’re on thin fucking ice babe.

I’m kidding shit on Rockstar all you want the opinions of you all affect me in no way shape or form. If you don’t like Rockstar I could care less. I like Red Dead unapologetically.

EDIT:

Don’t make me make you like RDR.

Not a fan of R* either.
Personally, I found GTA more tolerable than RDR, as I at least enjoyed the heists. Also, RDR is console-exclusive, which sucks.

Alright, guys. Let's not gang up on Aure, ha ha!

Here's a video detailing how the combat works. Maybe you've already seen this, but eh.

looks cool. A little clunky I guess, but hey, is not the specialty of the studio, so it's good for those who are working outside their comfort zone.

It's not details on the game but a little extra to supplement the video shared by @Black Rose :

Leonard Boyarsky reminds me of Ken Levine in the same way that Ken Levine reminds me of Steve Carell. Like a witch put a curse on Steve, and he gradually turned into Ken, then into Leonard.

Actually, now that I look at a picture of Leonard again, he looks like Ken combined with Alan Tudyk, who played the pilot in Firefly.

That video isn't needed imo.
There is no reasons to care about Beth. They are just using well-known titles o games they made and that shares similarities with the new one.
The rest is just conjectures.

You know what they say about assuming don't ya?

Rockstar is made up of tons of studios too btw, which is somewhat confusing for old fucks like me, since they also close studios like crazy. I can't really understand any disdain for them until recently perhaps when they shifted to GTA Online everything, and said fuck singleplayer DLC.

L.A. Noire and Red Dead Redemption are standouts in the genre. I'm not a huge GTA fanboy by any means but I have played every entry since the original, minus the London expansion I suppose. The point being all of the games are pretty damn good for what they are. The progression in the series has been pretty impressive. But Red Dead is not even made by the same people.

I mean they have a "studio" in fucking India. What is that guy doing? Washing money?

Oh but Outer Worlds. Meh.
