THESURVIVOR2299.com likely isn't a Fallout 4 teaser website

I don't know about you but I'm not so thrilled about the next-get (already announced) titles. I'd be so hyped about a Fallout 4 announcement though.

You just know that whoever is doing this, if it isn't legit, is lurking around this thread giggling like a kid at a sex shop. Whether it is real or not, Fallout 4 is clearly coming soon, if only based on threedog's tweets.
This and the reddit thread.

Even if the trace was fake/stretched, it fits perfectly with the founder/CEO's philosophy.

Not to mention, they were in charge of Fallout 3 and Skyrim advertising.

What philosophy? That of making teaser sites that unambiguously linked Fallout 3 to Bethesda? Furthermore, there is no real link. AKQA is a company hiring 1,200 employees and with a very high profile in the gaming industry. Google Images is about as tenuous link as you can get.

Out of curiosity, I googled my own name. Hey, a guy from the Etnographic Museum comes up. I MUST BE TIED TO THE MUSEUM SOMEHOW!

Unless you need them for reasoned labor, in which case... why not build them at a rudimentary level where they were less likely to rebel? Why not make them *physically* rudimentary rather than wasting time and resources on building in extra features that would make it impossible to tell one apart from any ten guys in the wasteland if it ran away, which is apparently an issue? It's not like they're trying to hide them; the doc from the institute openly divulges the nature of both his bodyguard (iirc?) and the escapee he's hunting, and a whole "railroad" of bums and townies seem aware of their existence. They're not militaristically superior either: The two present in F3 both fold like a silk napkin if things come to blows, despite having been selected (built?) specifically for enforcement duties. And that's all just the tip of the iceberg.

I'll not write off the concept before we get a more in-depth understanding of how Beth fits it into the world, but it's going to take a very specific, very unlikely set of circumstances to logically justify.

Done ranting here. Bit of a peeve, sorry. If the droid talk keeps up I'll probably make yet another android thread in General Fallout Discussion to keep things on-topic. Speaking of which, not for nothing, W.U.E., but it might be time to change the thread title to something slightly more ambivalent :P
It reminds me a little of the good ol days, when the arguments were about how ridicules FO2 theme and how everything in it doesn't make sense when we compare it to FO1 :)

The two counters could be for

#1: Artwork reveal

#2: Video reveal

(the timers are named "art-count" and "vid-count")

There's a commented out method call on the vid-count:
Code:
$("vid-count").SliderLaunch();

I am guessing it will do something when the time comes (doesn't seem to be implemented at the moment).

Edit: Heh looking at that reddit thread it looks like this have already been covered.

hopefully the artwork will shed some light on the situation, until then we can keep on guessing, i wonder if there is any other clues in the HTML code??

The morse code seems to change quite often. I got the longfellows morse code now. Earlier today I got a different one.

ah but I see we're also on day 5 now. Last time I wrote it was 6.

The Fallout series, most overtly in its past two iterations Fallout 3 and New Vegas, has had a very political bent to it, with various factions vying for control of the nuclear-ravaged wasteland – making the politically-charged Boston an ideal fit for further exploration of that idea. Unfortunately, Fallout: New Vegas, rather than building upon the tremendous platform that Fallout 3 created, stumbled with numerous bugs and game-breaking issues.

Still, fans should be willing to shake off New Vegas‘ shortcomings, and accept Fallout 4 as what it is: a sequel to Fallout 3. If that means the series is headed to Boston, then fans should be all for it, even if Boston wasn’t their ideal choice.

I just can't believe what I'm reading!!!

Fallout 3 fans with selective memory that are udner the impression that FO3 didn't have game breaking bugs a plenty. I guess they just simply forgot the DLC: The land of the Giant red exclamation Signs!

Gaming media/press is incredibly similar to internatinal politics, full of blatant lies, hypocrisy and rethorics.

As usual, the Simpsons has the perfect picture to embody this kind of selective memory.

If anything New Vegas was in general more stable than FO3.
More than once that game refused to let me walk a clear path without repeatedly crashing to desktop.

I also don't recall any bouncing or stretching characters (well perhaps that one bark rad scorpion), where as in Fallout 3 it sometimes seemed I had was wandering around in a post apocalyptic themed pinball table inhabited by Stretch Armstrong people/stretch people.

New Vegas had more than enough bugs, nobody can deny that. Though, what makes me angry is if people deny Fo3's bugs. It was at least as much a clusterfuck + it was way less complicated than New Vegas in terms of amount of quests and c&c.

New Vegas has a lot of bugs, I now find any instance of finding one hilarious (mostly because I admit I am a complete fanboy of the game, though I can stil lrecognize it's flaws) And well New Vegas has WAY more content than FO3, more systems and mechanics while being "just as stable". I just find it irritating that FO3 fanboys and the "game """"journalism""""" people in general just seem to forget that and pin New Vegas as the "Buggy Sequel to the Perfect Fallout3!".

was NV has too much bug?
for me, it's not a big problem.
actually, I feel like oblivion or fo3 has far more problem with bug.

anyway. I can admit NV has more bug.
but not because dev's are skilless but because game evolved too fast.
seriously, 1.5 year for more complex game?
they did super job on using useless tool to making great game!

and bug really matters?
there are tons of method to fix them.
it's not that hard.

What's with the negativity? You might be wrong, I might be wrong. You don't know and neither do I.
