"We want to answer 'yes' every time the player asks a question (...) " - Todd Howard

Can I have awesome graphics that make use of my high-end PC's capabilities?
What bothers me most is I recall Todd Howard saying something along the lines of "We didn't focus on graphics because we wanted to really make sure we had a good game with good gameplay" and then what I get is Bored-erlands 3.

Can I play as a lesbian without any ridiculous backstory of having a family I give no shits about?

Can I kill anyone that pissed me off or is everyone immortal?

Can I have music that actually sounds post apocalyptic, instead of music that sounds like it's from World of Warcraft?

Can we have the old battle taunts and other funny things that enemies say in battle like "Yup that cracked some ribs alright" from the first two Fallouts instead of comments like "GONNA EAT YOU HUMUN!" from Fallout 4?

Can you retcon the entirety of the Fallout 3 and 4 storylines as a series of jet induced hallucinations of some junkie in New Reno?

"Can I choose a different voice for my weak-sounding character?"

"Can I be evil?"

"Can I have a .223 pistol, given this entire game's premise began in Fallout 3 as a reference to Blade Runner?"

"Can I have a .223 pistol, given this entire game's premise began in Fallout 3 as a reference to Blade Runner?"

This one. Seriously, they even recreated the final scene between Roy Batty and Deckard (and Codsworth can call you Deckard, of course), why the hell didn't they put the .223 pistol there? But no, it's just a generic 10mm pistol...
That reminds me...
"Can I have actually unique weapons, not just unique enchantments?"

No.

We say yes to the player always! Unless we say no.
