Your "WTF" moments in NV playthroughs

I just had a very funny bug.

I was playing the end game and had entered the Legate's Camp with Veronica and Orion Moreno.
After having convinced Lanius to retreat I returned to the main gate for the end segment.

After having talked with General Oliver the end slide show started but something must have gone wrong because as the slides passed and we got the ending dialog Moreno kept walking through the screen over and over, giving a sort of a "Don't mind me, just passing through" impression.

That's just how awesome Moreno is, he doesn't even need to wait for Ron Pearlman.

I think I would love the game ten times more if at the end battle you heard NCR Troopers just, "Patrolling the Mojave makes me wi...HOLY SHIT!!!!".

I had a WTF moment earlier today in Vegas, I had just finished I forgot to remember to forget, and I took Boone on a holiday to the Strip, and for some reason he decided to open fire on three friendly drunk NCR troopers.

Considering that when it's revealed to the people that Arcade was a member of the Enclave, and he gets hunted to the ends of the earth, it's not so much in the past as you might think.

Yeah but it takes time for them to recognise it as Enclave Property, the loading quote says as much I think. That the Enclave has been largely forgotten, Kreger too, "Memories being short around here not a lot of people remember us."

I'm playing HH at level 10 and I have the feeling things won't be easy.
So, I have to find the compass for Daniel. Piece of cake, Joshua!

Or not...

Fast travel to Zion Welcome Booth and headed to the ranger station nearby, so you can admire the view and at the same time bring some mark locations on your map thanks to Follows-Chalk. For those who not known, the booth is slightly under the horizon, so you can't view the road ahead until you walk to a higher point.
When I was clear in the open what did I see? Three, that's right, three fully adults Giant Yao-Guai bears smashing some poor young geckos and they saw me!

My build is an energy weapons one and I was armed with a Plasma Defender and a Recharge Pistol. The "lucky" thing is all of them seemed focused in Follows-Chalk, wich required one med-x, one psycho, one yao-guai meat and a turbo to kill them all, otherwise my companion would really be turned into chalk.
And he ended the battle with only 1 HP!

Man, what a rush.

I turned invisible. Dunno why, but my character was totally invisible in third person view.

Secondly, the thing is, the Remnants show up in A) Power Armor
B) Wielding crazy ass enclave pew pew pew tech
C) in a fucking vertibird

It kinda gives it away, doesn't it? I mean the options are basically Brotherhood or Enclave, it'd be nice to see somebody have a reaction to the dudes in badass awesome armor tearing shit up.

There is a reaction post battle, The Legion would send hunter to kill them but they would grow to fear them and leve them alone as their deaths would eat up more resources than its worth, the NCR arrests Arcade probably because he is the only one that won't just melt them out of spite, and the legends of the ENclave Remnants spread through the place. You are no gonna be very selective when a dude in power armor just saves you from being stabbed to death by a Machete wielding creep or is helping you kill the degenerates.

But they only arrest Arcade if you have convinced him to fight at Hoover Dam. Because of this, Arcade is kind of doing his coming out and tells the world that he is from the Enclave.

A very sad ending. Got it on my first playthrough and it was just sad and depressing (in a cool, surprising cinematic kind of way) how everything turned out.

In generall I loved the Enclave appearance at the end battle plus the endgame slide to it. It's just way too badass if there is a big battle going on, a vertibird just appears and heavy armored Enclave troopers getting dropped, turning everything into ash around them.

I was going to try a playthrough where I get the Enclave to help at Hoover Dam and ally the Brotherhood of Steel with NCR, but then I read on the Vault that there was a bug which makes BoS/NCR start a shitstorm and kill each other (because of faction shit) despite supposedly "allying".

Confirm/deny this bug, and has anyone done both Enclave/BoS at the end?

I have done never anything else and didn't encountered such a bug.

I had the Remnants turn on me (presumably because I pissed off the NCR at some point) but I gave no fucks because I discovered this thing called the grenade machine gun and i get to play god at a like 350 grenades a minute holy christ

To be honest i'm alright with killing the enclave at the end if I some how trip them off, cos they don't have a enclave dead slide at the end so I can just forget about it.

In Fallout: New Vegas or F3? There's a slide for the Remnants dying or anything else for that matter in NV.

I was just surprised they were attacking me; I'd have figured that they would be like "hey it's that got who got us out of retirement HEY LETS KILL 'EM.

I'm also going to include the first time i fired the grenade machine gun. Holy christ I just never had that much before... I'm going to keep playing this character (plenty of vaults to visit, quests to do, two hundred and forty odd year old autocrats to knock off before the big fight. Plenty of time to level up my skills and and stuff.

It's because they are bizarrely alligned to the faction rather than the player... most silly in my opinion.

Oh darn there is, so actually, yeah I would probably mind killing the Enclave, well, when I do the final battle for the Yes Man, i'll try to avoid all hostilities with the NCR.
