    Digital video has a HUGE advantage in post. Developing and editing film is still a lengthy and expensive process. You can do video on some laptops.

    No it's far worse than that. They take canon material and stretch it beyond all reason. Theres a set of 3 episodes in one of the later arcs that I shit you not altogether only covers two pages of the manga. Ideally youd want to be covering 2-7 chapters per episode depending on the content of the chapters.

    The problem with Onepace is that the people editing it have absolutely no sense of direction or narrative so you end up looking at a longer episode jumping around and zipping through which is definetly not the way an audiovisual piece should feel like.

    I thought it was neat that they gave both perspectives in IW and Endgame. In IW Rhodey openly regrets signing and they all basically ignore the accords, but Endgame opens with Cap looking like a petulant child in face of the bigger picture when Tony points out how little his principles mattered in the face of just doing their job.

    It just makes me wish I was born in Japan so I could come up with some gimmicky anime and have a career doing that for 10 to 15 years by padding out storylines with filler. I would probably end up in the Suicide Forest lol.

    AoT doesnt have filler. But yeah uhhh... pretty good ending. There a lot I wished he did more with and I feel we could still use a few more epilogue chapters but oh well. The amount of people who think it's a terrible ending is kind of baffling to me tbh.

    Good. This is what bothers me when people say "cats are selfish bastards who don't care" etc - they are what you raise them to be. If you show them attention, play, cuddle etc - that's how your cat will be, and imho - that's a healthy, social cat.

    The Latin American dub of Attack on Titan makes me think a lot of old school LatAm Dubs, it's pretty great. Naturalistic and theatrical.

    But with swears, old school LatAm dubs usually refrained from strong swears (except for things like Southpark were they went with even stronger swears than the original), so hearing some of the old chool VAs say shit and son of a bitch is kinda funny.
