Fallout 4 DLC revealed

They're run by the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences, which sure sounds impressive, doesn't it?

Check out all the gloating Fallout 4 fans in that thread, you would think their kid had won first prize in a spelling bee. Amazing how invested people can get in a product they paid money for.
I'm trying to take them down a peg in that thread. I doubt they'll listen. Hell, a mod will probably remove my posts for hurting their feelings.

I haven't played in game in the bed rpg category, heard a lot of good things regarding Witcher 3

Out of blatant curiosity, what's your handle of the Beth forum?

Reading through the list how the fuck did FO4 beat Witcher 3, Undertale and, PoE for RPG of the year? All of those games are good, real RPG's.
These awards shows matter as much as an IGN review, which is to say not at all.

They are advertisements and nothing more - propaganda designed to manipulate people into buying crap they would have otherwise never bought. The entire game industry is infested with advertisements/marketing masquerading as legitimate reviews/awards.

Yeah, good luck with that. Try not to get brain cancer.
Yeah I'm done already.
One of them asked "are you from the NMA crowd".
And that speaks volumes to me.
The NMA crowd are just haters so disregard their opinion basically.
Seen it before. Doubt much has changed.
And I'd rather not be caught up in too much of a shitstorm with a bunch of zealous apologists.
I've said my piece, it's up to the ones with a modicum of critical thinking skills to wise up.
The others can sit around and circlejerk one another while slathering their Fallout 4 copies with genital fluids for all I care.

Man am I glad I'm out of that never-ending barrel of shit-stirring.

Aw, but his response is so lame.

"And yes, Bethesda did do something to the series we love. They pulled an obscure franchise from the grave and actually made it a well known franchise and financially successful, which is something the original creators were never able to do on both accounts."

What's great about this is that he didn't actually say Bethesda made good games.

Edit: Oh and he described NMA as a "horrible place". Found that quite amusing

More like they bid the highest out of a bunch of people bidding at an Interplay yard-sale and then proceeded to mangle the remains, skin it and make their abused son Elder Scrolls wears the skinsuit they've made.

When did people started to be okay with Season Passes? It is the worst aspects of pre-ordering, DLC, and early access put into one.

This is quote from the Fallout 3 Wikipedia page.
Leonard Boyarsky, art director of the original Fallout, when asked about Interplay Entertainment's sale of the rights to Bethesda Softworks, said "To be perfectly honest, I was extremely disappointed that we did not get the chance to make the next Fallout game. This has nothing to do with Bethesda, it's just that we've always felt that Fallout was ours and it was just a technicality that Interplay happened to own it. It sort of felt as if our child had been sold to the highest bidder, and we had to just sit by and watch. Since I have absolutely no idea what their plans are, I can't comment on whether I think they're going in the right direction with it or not.".

Star Wars Battlefront (a game with 74 Critic Score and 3.4 User Score on Metacritic) won an award so that should pretty much tell you everything you need to know. As I said, these things are just advertisements masquerading as reviews/award shows.

I personally never pay attention to game awards, it's all marketing.

The "Best Sound Design" award would be understandable, but "Best Action Game"? Hell no.
