Fallout 4 gameplay videos leaked, Bethesda starts taking them down

Women without cocks?
How boring.
And where the hell is the nude male mods huh?
Damn sexist modders...
I wanna see male characters walk around with raging stiffies damnit!

(Seriously though, I don't really get people who get nude mods. The well developed sex mods I can understand but just nude mods feel kinda pointless. Do they really walk around completely naked in third person? Or do they just switch in and out every once in a while to oggle at Ms Protagonist's static titties? What's the point? The only time I ever download a mod that is as absurd as the nudity mods is when I've given up on taking the game seriously at all. It's when I don't give a flying fuck about consistency or lore any more and I just wanna dick around. So yeah, this does show the mindset of the Fallout 4 audience. What do weed? Shitty titties! When do we need them? Yesterday! Now if they could just bring out a mod that turned super mutants yellow...)

Because nude and sex mods are free while porn isn't. :V
:look:
Ahem, do you have the time to talk about our lord and saviour Pornhub?
It is not the only lord and saviour!
We're a polytheistic order.
There is also Xvideos, Empflix, TNAflix, Imagefap and countless other sites!

My guess is that they need their porn in their games as they can't go five minutes without jacking off. With porn and nude mods you get the best of both worlds!:V No longer do you have to miss watching porn while playing the newest and over hyped mediocre title. With nude and porn mods you can play the newest games and furiously masturbate at the same time!
I thought that was why they did the whole pipboy thing. Like, you mount your real life pipboy on your arm, slide in your phone that is playing porn on a loop and then glance over at it whenever you feel the urge bubbling to the surface and you crave for a release.

I'll never understand it. Why bother with half-assed nudity mods and awkward sex mods when you can just rule 34 the shit out of the game.

I'll guess the sex mods, realistic bouncing breasts, and the 'build your own brothel' mod are already in development, soon I will be able to run and participate in the Commonwealth's most active whore house.
Forget finding baby I need to turn tricks.

Honestly Todd, what else did you think would get the most focus? Oh I am sure there will be some mods that will turn the character into a pony (or all characters so bronies can play that PA version of MLP)

Todd Howard would make a great Ronald MC Donald.

Hmm... do you ever see both in the same room together?

Please for the love of fucking God tell me why can robots mutate and why is combat sooooo boring when fighting a Legendary Bulletsponge? Todd can take his game and cram it up his ass! Sorry this Goddamn game is infuriating me.

I have been killed by Festering legendary Bloatflies, by suicider Mutants and once by a Mole rat with mines strapped to it, but all the Deathclaws I've found, even the Legendary, Alpha and Savage ones I have killed on the first try even when they have the "overleveled" skull icon. Deatchlaws are such pussies now.

Modded Baseball Bat. I recently acquired a Super Sledge but I haven't tried it with Deathclaws.

I did the Silver Shroud Quest. It was a fun quest, even tho it was YET ANOTHER kill quest it had the fun element of going around dressed as a rip off of The Spirit. The quest loses a lot of it's charm because of the Male Player voice. I could've done a better "Old Timey Gruff Antihero Voice" than him. Those "Silent Protagonist" mods can't come faster?

Do you think they'll need the GECK kit first? Well after looking at the top Fallout 4 mods on the Nexus I see where their priorities are...nude women mods. I want a UI mod since navigating the clunky Pipboy menus is torture.

Top files for New Vegas are all gameplay and texture overhauls. The Nude mod thing is highly exaggerated.

And yeah, they will need both the GECK and the Script Extender to do any kind of interesting mods.

Yeah, but I think you should not forget that New Vegas and Bethesdian FINO have a somewhat different appeal, I would say they are quite different games alltogether, except for the gameplay maybe. I mean Vegas is at least a role playing game. So I guess those interested in good storytelling and dialog will be more inclined to stay with Vegas and modd something for it, while those that just want to get more pink power armor in the game to be the most badas member of the Brotherhood, stay with something like Fallout 3 or 4. Of course, that's just me, I would rather modd for a game like Vegas than F3. But I don't want to talk for everyone, just my 5 cent.

Fallout3 top fils are also Gameplay and texture overhauls. Fallout 4 top mods are all retexture mods because that's all that is possible right now.
Like I said, the nude mod thing is highly exaggerated. Who wants to read about how a group of amateurs revamped the AI and mechanics of a 5 year old game and made it more challenging and hardcore? Much easier to just go for "Lol nerd perverts" and get a quick chuckle.

Yeah fair enough. I encountered suicidal Super Mutants strapped with explosives at some hospital for some reason, regular Super Mutants as well. They talk like they're unintelligent and catch themselves on fire when using Molotov cocktails. Found a Legendary Super Mutant too, man Bethesda just love their legendary enemies.

So I thought those legendary enemies would only occasionally mutate, and then get maybe some special ability and toughen up some more or something like that. Y'know, to make it special.
But apparently, every single legendary mutate I've encountered mutates (unless you kill them quickly enough), regains his health and basically stays the same otherwise. Boring and annoying.

I had one mutate two times which made it annoying since that robot had such an exorbitant amount of health. This mutate feature is stupid and useless.

You would think that Legendary would mean 'rare' or 'one of a kind', not a randomly appointed title. I don't know how many legendary enemies I have been running into so far.
Also, Synths and Robots mutating? Well apparently human DNA is somehow involved in Synth construction (despite them being made from synthetic parts) but pure artificial machines have no DNA that can mutate. (plus mutate basically means 'second wind', abusing the term)

So, in this thread: http://forums.bethsoft.com/topic/15...more-just-a-g-with-a-story-110/#entry24520968
Someone criticizes Fallout 4 for not being an RPG.
Here are some responses:

"It is a game, you can role play this said game. It has roles you can play. Hence it is an RPG? Stands to reason, no?"
So Battlefield Vietnam is an RPG then.

"Call it what you will but Bethesda will make 1.5+ billion dollars from this game (I heard they are at 800 million already). Their job is to sell the most copies which means things will be more streamlined."
Who cares if it isn't a good RPG, cashmoney is the only thing that matters.

And here is a moderator responding to him:
"if you disagree with the OP, let it be and let the thread drop into oblivion. Do not post to call anyone a troll.
OP: Nice of you to join just to let us know you don't like the game. This being a fan forum of those who do enjoy the game, it's a bit of flamebait here and usually results in members flaming and getting warnings. As long as this thread stays civil, it stays open. But we will not allow it to continue if it becomes uncivil. There are many places that accept reviews with open arms. You might want to let them know over at Metacritic. It's the place for reviews. This forum is for fans of the games to discuss both the good and bad about the game.

We will be watching this thread closely and if we have to remove or edit too many posts or give warnings, it will be closed."
This kinda shit happened just before the release which is what made me leave the forum; The moderators don't want negative criticism. It's a place for fans, only positive messages should be held there and if you hold negative ones, well, we can't ban you outright but we'll damn well look for any reason to shut this thread down (the thread got locked after 3 pages).

"Why have food, drink, sleep and separate armor bits? So you can roleplay . "
This doesn't even make any fucking sense to me.

"k bye"
This, THIS, was not removed by the strict moderators. This is all that the user posted. "k bye". That's not only flamebaity in that kind of condescending dismissive way but it is also just flat out spam. The moderators think that is a big no no. Except when it is said to someone who's posting negative criticism it seems like.

And here's another moderator:
"That's not to say Bethesda totally perfected this aspect, I think there's still room for improvement. But this far I find I'm cooking alot more now, and making use of food. I just think there's an equally compelling argument to make that you can encourage roleplaying just as much by rewarding players for specific activities as you can by making having a plethora of meters to track. Different strokes for different folks though - that's what happens when people have opinions about subjective topics. "
I'm getting real tired of this bullshit of an excuse of an argument. RPG's CAN be objectively judged. Sorry, but just cause you 'feel' different doesn't make up for the fact that Fallout 4's RPG elements are neutered. And that you cook a lot more is god damn meaningless. Unless you can actively RP as a chef. Can you? No? You just craft some food here and there? Then fuck off with the cooking. It's just as much "RP'ing" as walking down a road and saying you're RPing as a tourist.

"Whatev"
See: "k bye".

"Fallout 4 has introduced MORE RPG elements than any of the previous games had :/"
Right, then what rock are they hiding under?

"Dude. Mods. Mods. Mods."
Mods are irrelevant to a discussion of a game's merits as an RPG.

"But what if it was. And is"
I didn't cut this sentence. This is literally all the person wrote. Allow me to summarize his already short post with one word: "Nuh-uh!"

I think ya'll get the point.

[edit]

And here's another one:
"If Obsidian does a Fallout, I hope they do better QA. Never completed NV because of the constant crashing to desktop. Unmodded NV and I keep crashing. I hate NV!"
Yes, Obsidian is responsible for the poor QA. >_>

[edit]

My point with all of this is to shed some light on the way some Bethfans respond to criticism of their new favorite game for those that don't venture into the Bethesda Forums. Anyone who don't get why people don't call Fallout 4 and Bethesda out on their shit this might give you some perspective on it. Proper criticism is treated this way by like half the posters in that thread.

[edit]

Wait, is this considered cross-site trolling? http://www.nma-fallout.com/showthread.php?150947

Respect others as long as they respect you. If they disrespect you, simply ignore them. That means no flaming. That also means no death threats to any developers or media outlets, no matter how much you hate them. Don't be an idiot. It also means no trolling and no cross-site trolling.

This is just as bad with the Bioware forums after the Mass Effect 3 debacle. Also this song comes to mind when I read that moderator post.
