Fallout 4 gameplay videos leaked, Bethesda starts taking them down

Oh he has glasses and everything.

So a "Smart Mutant" that likes Shakespeare and another with glasses...

Clichesda.

What song is it that's repeated?

All of them. Butcher Pete, I dont wanna leave the jungle and all the others have played in the Diamond City radio station.

Wait! I thought mutants didn't need glasses. Doesn't the FEV fix stuff like nearsightedness when the human mutates? Unless they are fake then if so, REALLY! :seriouslyno:

They didnt forget the scarf too, good for them.
@RangerBoo I dont think his glasses are for some medical condition.

At some point Strong should go:
"I-it's not like I want your m-milk of human kindness! B-baka! D-don't get the wrong idea you pervert!" With a bright red blush and everything. It would be stupid, but hilarious as hell.

What I wish my Player Character could say "One of the first things you say to me when we meet for the first time is that you want to give me a blowjob despite not bothering to ask if I would like that or not, and now you are pulling back for little or no reason. How about not starting on the subject in the first place you asshole!"

OK, so what's inside Vault 114?

And are the Synths actual synths, or are they people who were kidnapped and converted? I noticed that some of the pictures have some sort of flesh on the exterior.

Thanks btw.

There were just some "gansters" called the Triggermen inside. You are basically forced into combat throughout, there doesn't seem to be anything else other than rescuing a Plot essential character.

We still don't know much about Synths, the Detective you rescue is a Synth, but he says he is a prototypeof a more advanced model. THere are some older models that are just Metallic and look like out of Metropolis, he says there are infiltration units. There also seem to be some "Terminator" type of Synths.

This guy is the Detective, right? If so, why does he talk with the PC, and doesn't go hostile?

I guess the whole triggermen/Valentine part is related to the Unlucky Valentine quest? [since that one also has 40s style gangster clothing]
I havn't seen it, but my guess is that you talked with his secretary in Diamond City and she told you in which direction to look for him. Just speculation though. But makes sense.

One more thing about 114:

Is their leader ghoulified? The only reason I ask is because one image related to 114 was posted here and it had someone with a fedora, but that someone's face looked deformed and had weird eye color.
No, sorry
think youre looking at the synth detective, no original dwellers in there

How would the player otherwise know that he's talking to a smart mutant and not another target practise for his shot-gun?

Because the Detective is a plot essential character, you need to find him to look for your son. He si also another "Good specimen of a bad race" type of character, he lives in Diamond city.

A smart Super Mutant. With glasses. And a scarf. And he's even called freakin' Virgil... Seriously Bethesda...
If he starts citing poetry I'm gonna shoot him in the face, gotta use the blessings that Bethesda bestows upon us. Of course he won't die, because I bet he's immortal, but will feel nice.

Calling those Super Mutants cliché is like calling Tabitha cliché because she has split personalities because that's been done before.

Tabitha is crazy because she is a Nightkin who overused stealth boys, were you asleep during classes?
A smart character wearing glasses is super cliched, especially for a super mutant which shouldn't even have any human defects like bad eyesight.

Tabitha doesn't have a split personality... She is robosexual and xenophobic.

The Split personality is with Lily, and it's not even played in a cliche manner, it's Lily's deranged mind giving her a coping mechanism for the violent things she did for the Master as she was a Sweet old lady before getting dipped.

I don't see how that's comparable to a cliched "I am fro ma brute race but I learned shakepseare so now I am good" and a Mutant with Glasses and a Scarf...

I know exactly why she has it fool. This character seems to be clearly mocking hipsters so it doesn't mean they need the glasses. Think for once.

But I do like the little detail of those straps to make them fit.
Too bad his head looks like Prosper designed it, though.
Wait, shit, does Prosper work for Bethesda now?

Character nuances, you can't expect everyone to get them ;)

Didn't know making a character wear glasses is enough to say "f*ck hispters". Until we know more of what he says we don't know if he's mocking anyone or not. So far it looks like typical Bethesda to me.
"fool", "Think for once" so civil... And supposedly we are the haters...
